If you dont mind I'm going to piggy back on this one and ask related question. At the conference the plastic surgeon advised for insurance to cover the reconstruction there needs to be a documented history of skin issues.. So would that mean that I should start a relationship with one now have them document and treat skin issues as they arise???? I'm thinking yes.. But for me,,, reconstruction is a long way away..

My doctors told me to document all skin issues.  So when I see my PCP, I have him make notes of all the problems I've been having.  Also, my husband has a file on his computer with dated pictures of all the skin irritations I have.  I figure those two thing will be ammunition in my fight way down the road.
