I am doing LOTS better this morning. the extra days have been helpful. Hope all of you are finding things to do but also finding time to rest before we gear up into another week.

DH came home Friday so I took him out for dinner last night. I even got dressed up, and so did he.
I took him to a family style restaurant. Out by Peoria's airport. My mom and brother went. My kids all had plans so they are coming over today and cook on the grill.
Nancy glad to see you are doing better. Keep working that knee and you will be like new before you know it. Enjoy your time of getting waited on you deserve it!

We plan on taking it easy today. Neither of us knew how exhausted we would be after the garden walk. Did I tell you we had over 500 people go through? And almost everyone asked about the strange tree we have. We almost were saying "Weeping Katsura" in our sleep!
This Wed is my retirement party at work. It is open to anyone interested from 4-6 in the med school front lobby. That will be an exciting event!

Nancy glad to hear your doing better. It won't be long til your back home and feeling 100%.
I went to see Mary Poppins last night and all I can say is that it was "fantastic". The scenery, the costumes, the voices were all great!
Today we will be going to my cousins for the get together.
Can't wait to see them and do some catching up. Hopefully the scattered showers in the forecast will not arrive where we will be.
I'm keeoing my fingers crossed.....
