Friday Roll Call

I am amazed that it is this late and nobody started the post!  Well, I'm back on after an extended time of not checking in.  Things have been busy and distracting.  First, the massage stuff is going well.  I have been working at the clinic 2 nights a week and have had very happy clients.  I am also starting to take on my own private clients as well.  If anybody is looking for massage, just PM me and we can talk.  Now for the really good news!  I went to the doctor for my regular 3 month check up and not only was everything perfect, I was down 14 pounds from my last visit in March!!!  I have not been weighing in daily like I use to, and I guess a pound here and a pound there started to add up.  On top of that, my triglycerides were substantially lower and everything else (HCA1a, cholesterole, etc...) was down a few points as well.  I guess this band just keeps on going even a year later.  And I still have never needed a fill!  I was sorry to miss the convention, but Liz took me for a nice weekend in Galena to celebrate my birthday.  To make a long story short, it lead to my taking up pen making.  I am now producing wooden pens and starting to sell them at art fairs.  This weekend, my stuff will be at the Antioch fair and I'm hoping to make some income over the next few months.  This unemeployment has gotten old, and I'm excited about both of my businesses starting to produce some income.  The other day I went to buy some shorts, and I tried on size 38's (still amazed that I'm down to that size), and they didn't fit!  So I ended up getting the 36's!!!!!!  I cannot remember ever buying a size 36 in my life!  As you may remember, I was walking on clouds when I donated all my XXL shirts.  Well, I have now bagged up all my XL's and am wearing L's.  One of my clinic shirts is an M!  When I look in the mirror, only 1/2 of me shows up!  Have a great weekend!

I am SO glad to hear that things are going well for you. 

We missed you at the conference, but I had a feeling that you had something else going on.  We actually thought of you and wanted to tell you that next time they come, you need to set up a massage "booth".   I almost called you to tell you to get yourself over there.......it would have been a good opportunity to promote your business.  Think of it if they ever come back.

Galena is always a great time and last time I went there, I came home with the hobby of making jewelry!
