Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Been missing but reading almost everyday! I have been spending most of my time dealing with Noah. He was hospitalized for 2 weeks in Streemwood and came home last Wed at 3pm and had to be readmitted by 8:45pm to another hospital due to his aggressive behavior. I did not think he was ready to come home, but they sent him home anyway. The hospital he is at now, he has been before, and they were very successful with him. Because of Insurance issues, he could not go there the first time, in case you are wondering why we bothered with Streamwood at all. It has been a LONG and Frustrating road for all of us.
They are trying to modify his meds and his behavior and see if he can accept the rules and guidelines here at home, or he will have to go to a residential placement. I dont want that to happen, it makes me so sad to think about it, but we have to have some sort of sanity and peace in the house. WE are all so stressed here!
It is affecting my health, of course, becasue I dont have time to take care of me. I have been having stomach pain for weeks now and saw Dr. Wallace, who ordered an UGI, and then reccommended me to a GI specialist, who has me scheduled for an Endoscopy on Thursday at NWCH. He says he will look for an ulcer, and at the suture lines and connections, and take biopsies of areas if he sees anything funny.
I just want to be able to eat again, and drink again, like I could before, now it is a chore like at the beginning and it hurts to put food down and sometimes even hurts with water.
So that is the update of what is going on here, crazy, I know.
Depending on what happens with Noah, over the weekend, we are going to try ot make it to the get together at the Pizza place. So put us down as a "definite maybe". It would be Me, Jeff, Brigid, and possibly Noah. Stay tuned.............
