Newbee to the IL board

Hi everyone, I'm Teresa and I guest I should have went to this broad first instead of the others.  I started on the journey of research about 2 years ago and finally decided to take the plunge due to health problems and needless to say I've done all of the diets just like the rest of us.  To make my life and story short.  I am married  to Chuck, which just got laid off after 25 years, my daughter just got married to a wonderful man and we couldn't be happier for her, and my son is going thru driver's ed, HELP!!!!  No, not really, hes a good driver.   

I've had all the testing done and March will be the last month of my 6-month doctor visits.  So, this Wednesday  i go see the dietitian to be put on the liver diet.  Do anyone know of any questions that I really need to ask.  I want to be prepared for the visit.  After that it goes off the the insurance.

Anyway, I didn't mean to ramble on so much.  Just stumbled on the IL board and wanted to drop in and introduce myself.

Hi Teresa, I am glad that  you stumbled in to the best board on OH. As far as I know, and I am NOT a nurse or Dr, they want you to have as little fat buildup as possible on your liver. This is possibly a liquid diet. The only thing I would be wondering is how long you will need to be on this. This is just MY opinion, and I am sure you will get better answers.

Your life seems normal. It is to bad about your husbands job. Just remember, we are here for you. And please, join us in our daily roll call. This is where we all find out about each other, and also get support.
