 ((((Crystal))))

Welcome back.  I hope your dad will consider coming to Illinois.  It would be nice to have him closer.  Also, congratulations on taking that deep breath and telling him.  I know how difficult of a step that was.  I was so afraid to tell my mom and she really surprised me with her response!

I am glad you are feeling closure with your mom.  There will still be some rough times in the year to come.  If you need to talk, please let me know.  I have been there.  I lost my mom a year and a half ago.

I'm so glad that your dad is understanding about your surgery.  Maybe he will move here some day, but right now might be too soon to up and leave so soon after losing your mom.

Good Morning Dave and the rest of my IL family,

Dave, tell me after 7 hours of car shopping, the lady bought one!!  lol  That is a long day for sure and yes, it was cold too.

Today I have worked out already and have started the laundry too.  I will be doing homework and working on a puzzle I started last night.  I love puzzles, when my darling hubby doesn't come along and do it for me!!  UGH...makes me crazy!!

The boys won't be home til tomorrow, so it's another quiet day for the most part around here!

Have a wonderful, warm and safe day all!

Monica

Hello Illinoi,

I've been busy t home and work and have not had time tot post.  I did read most everything.  On Friday, i got home from work and realized I had pink eye.  i was lucky my doctor called in drops for me.  I was supposed to work and see my daughter in High School Musical.  She is playin Martha.  I went to watch, but not work.  I am feeling much better.  I did work the backstage at the show yesterday.  My son came in from school at Iowa to see his sister. She is doing a great job.

Today my husband and older son are going.  I am going out to the health club and then have to get my son to Woodfield to catch a bus back to Iowa.

I hope everyone starts feeling better.  I wish you all a great day.

Good morning IL family.

I couldn't sleep in bed last night and tried on the recliner instead. I am so congested and having a hard time breathing.

Went to the store and got some soup and other things. It's cold out there, at least for someone who is used to 50 degree weather!

I probably won't put in whole days at work this week. I am so tired.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. I know that this cold has to work itself out. At least I am at my worst, so it should get better from here.

Wishing everyone a great Sunday.

Hugs,
Lucy

The wind is nasty bitter. I just went out to fill the bird feeders and my hands were frozen when I came in. I had to run them under warm water to make them feel better.
