T.G.I. Friday ROLL CALL
Good Morning,
Just checking in to let you know that things are going better here, for the time being. Noah is settled in to his new surroundings and we are going to see him tomorrow. I talked to him last night and other than complaining about the food ( what a shock) he seemed ok.
They are doing what they call a med wash and slowly weaning him off all of his meds to get a baseline of what he is like without any meds. Plus since he has the low platelet problem, getting him off the med that is causing this is a main concern. Then they can do the blood work again and see if they come up. Hopefully they will and that will be the answer. If they dont come up, then we need to investigate further.
I just wanted to thank all of you for all of your support and love and kind words during this difficult time. It means more than you know. We dont have much support here, most of our friends are sick of hearing about all of this, and some dont believe there is a problem at all anyway. Oh well, right now the only ones I care about what they think are the four of us that live in this house. I need to stay strong for all of them.
On a positive note: Yesterday was my 90 day window for making dining reservations for our May trip to Disney ( Jeff and me only!) ( might I add we need it bad!) and was able to get all of our DIning reservations we needed, and a ressie for a Segway tour around the world at Epcot. I have always wanted to do that, and now I am really clost to the wt requirement so by May it should be no problem. I am really looking forward to this trip. Im not sure weather Noah will still be inpatient or out, but I hve all bases covered with him so we can go. Brigid will stay with my neighbors, they love to have her, and they run a daycare during the day, so one more is not a big deal. Then at night the two teenagers that sit for us all the time take care of her and spoil her rotten. She loves it there.
My goals are to just keep going
drink fluids
try to eat something and make it healthy
I hope everyone has a nice weekend and those with colds get some relief, Lucy gets home ok, Im glad Janet is feeling better afrter getting drained, and Dave, good luck with all the ladies. If I missed anyone Im sorry, but I hope there is sunshine in everyone's life this weekend.

I am waiting for my ex sister in law to call me so we can meet up and she can take the boys. they are going to the auto show tomorrow and then to their dad's to hang out with their new sister until Monday. Then I will go and pick them up. Other than that, I'm not doing much of anything.
Tomorrow, I am actually supposed to go to our dog's breeder's house to help her get pictures of a new litter of puppies that were born last Saturday. I am excited, I love puppies...they are black and tan shepherds. She offered one to us for free, but we're good with the 2 whites we have now. lol
The rest of the weekend is just relaxing and hanging out, no real plans

Everything here is great. I am just waiting for that warm weather to show up. I already got rid of all my winter clothes!
Hubby and I decided not to exchange gifts for V-Day. We are just going to go out to dinner and a movie as a family...weird I know, but we don't get a lot of time to spend all together. But he did bring me roses last night and I am making him a CD with all the music from our wedding/reception. Even though it was 5 years ago, I thought it would be a nice reminder for the two of us about that day!

As for me and my DH, we are forgoing the exchanging of V-day stuff and like acouple of others here, sunday after Elijahs bowling tournament we are going out to a nice dinner as a family. It's been a long rough week with the news we got tuesday, so we need this time as a family.
Eileen if you need anything I'm sure me and anyone on here are here for ya in anyway, WE LOVE YA!!!!!

Tonight I'm going to go into Joliet and see acouple of friends who haven't seen me since roughly 3 months after my RNY, so I'm excited to see them and show off the new me. It's mainly going to be Princess Tillie and I for most the weekend. Leon works tonight and tomorrow, Elijah has a valentines day banquet with one girl tonight at her church and then tomorrow night the valentines day dance at school with another girl, tomorrow morning we have bowling. Sometime this weekend I need to get some laps in at the pool. Sunday we have Elijahs bowling tournament most the day and then go out to eat. I know once again I'm rambling on.
Well if I dont get to post anymore this weekend, please all of you have a great and safe weekend!!!
