Good Morning Lucy and the rest of my IL family

Lucy, I am so sorry that your vacation hasn't turned out better for you.  how's it been going with your mom?  I am praying that at least wasn't too bad.

Today I have to run to WalMart to get a new house for the ratties..they ate their other one, which is okay, it's made for that! lol   I also have to pick up a free container of Florida's Natural OJ to try for a BzzzzAgent Campaign I am doing.  Of course I won't be trying it, but I will have the kids and Mike try it and give me their feedback.  I love being a BzzzAgent..I get to try all sorts of new things and for free too.  I am also waiting to get the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner to try too!
Then it will be more homework, getting dinner in the crock pot, Tyler has an ortho appt later and I have to pick up Jacob at school after drama practice.

I hope everyone has a wonderful, warm and safe day today!

Monica

Good morning Monica.

My mom is same as usual, driving my sister and I nuts. She has to straighten out the refrigerator and freezer each morning. Then, we can't find our stuff.

I can't wait to be home. The next 2 days are not promising at all. Weather sucks and from what I saw on the Weather Channel, the weather sucks all next week too. Now, it's harder because I don't have a car anymore, so I am stuck in the house.

I know my situation is nothing like anyone else here.

Take care and have a great day.

Hugs,
Lucy

 Morning All -
Still feeling crummy but I'll survive.  I finally switched out the batteries in the scale and was pleasantly surprised.  I'm not where I want to be but it's not as bad as I thought.  So, I need to just stay focused and get myself to the gym regularly.  It will be a little bit of a set back w/ my upcoming foot surgery but I can do other upper body exercises.  I just have to do it.  My head is still screwed up.  I guess it will always be.  I find myself reverting back to old habits all the time.  It's a battle I'll struggle with for life.  It stinks!
So, not much else going on.  Calvin is doing very well with his food intake and no sugar.  Sugar is a huge trigger for him and he's doing great staying clear of it.  Hopefully this will help with his diabetes and other health issues.

Saying a prayer for Noah that he's able to get the help he needs.

Welcome Lori.. Congrats on your upcoming surgery!

Dave, good luck on your test.

Those not feeling well, take it easy and wishing you a quick recovery.

Have a great day everyone!

Hugs,
Lucy

Good morning Lisa.

Well, this is a one in a million kind of weather for Palm Springs. It wouldn't have been so bad if it was a day or two, but this weather is continuing to be so cold, and now the threat of rain again for Friday - ughh!!!! I came for the warm and sunny weather.

Sorry, but I am so depressed about this. Family or no family, this is awful.

Good morning everyone!  Got on the scale this morning and guess what???  I now offically have less than 100 lbs to lose.  Very exciting for me.  I guess working out and upping my protein have really helped as I have lost almost 10 lbs in about in the 14 days I have been doing it.  Who knew what the Dr.s tell you to do actually works!!!!

DH and DS are home today - DH has that day off (gotta love working for the State) and the boys are 'hanging out' today according to DS.

Not much at work today - just researching and grant writing and a 6th grade presentation in the afternoon!

Noah will be in my thoughts and prayers...
