Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good morning Janet. Ah, seromas! I remember the feeling. I had them with my thighplasty and had to have them drained every week for 6 weeks.

You do feel much better once it is drained, as the pressure is relieved. Hope one draining will do the trick!

Take care.

Hugs,
Lucy

Good Morning Lucy and Illinois Friends!

Lucy, I am so sorry that your vacation has been a bust!    I never knew that Palm Springs could get so cold!  I hope you have a few nice days before you leave.

Janet, I am so glad that the doctor was able to drain the fluid.  That is plain scary that you had that much fluid in you!  Glad you feel better and hope it doesn't come back.

Dave, which class is it that is so hard and you dont think you will use the information?  I had a few of those.  You may be surprised where that info will come in handy later on in life.  Good luck on the test!

Hope everyone has a great Friday EVE!

Good morning Nancy. I think the next 2 days is going to be the same, and it looks like rain for tomorrow. Now, I feel like I have a sore throat.

Hope you are doing well. By the way, I love your new picture.

I'm so sorry to hear about so many issues, concerns and illnesses among our IL family.

Stay well!

Hugs,
Lucy

Good Morning Everyone!

I am new to this board.   I have been lurking but  decided it was time to join in.  I am sceduled to have Lap Band Surgery on Friday, February 20.  I am really excited but also quite nervous.  I started my preop liquid diet.  It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  On Moday I did all my preop and the doc said everything was a go.  I have been working towards having this surgery since January 2008.  My OLD insurance gave me the run around so I just switched to a new company when the opportunity came up in November.  Since then it has been a breeze.  My main problem right now is that I have developed a cold.  I saw my primary yesterday and he gave me an antibiotic to keep infections away and said I would fine for surgery.  I was so scared I would have to reschedule.

Thanks to all who post here.  I have learned so much from each and every one of you!
