Good afternoon everyone,
I know, I am always complaining it is cold, but go**** is cold outside. We had wind chills this morning of -16. We also woke up this morning with no water. We have well water and a pump, we try to keep it warm and toasty--but this morning, the weather won....not a good way to wake up, but thankfully, my husband was home and able to fix the problem....
I had a great "wow" moment today. My pcp took me off of all my diabetes medicine (I still was on 500 of metformin.) My A1C was down to 4.7, which is low....almost too low, but considering it was 8.5 before my RNY in August--This is the main reason I had bariatric surgery. (O.K., I admit the weight loss is cool, too!)
