Good Morning Illinois,
I did not want to get up today. I teach 8th grade students with learning issues. I have a meeting with one of my parents this morning. Her son did not do well 2nd quarter so she wants to come in and talk. Other than that, I am bracing for the next round of snow today.
Wouldn't it be nice when it warms up this weekend there would be a little rain to start washing everything away.

Good morning Dave and Illinois!
Not much going on around here today....just laundry and the gym. The grandchildren have gone home. My son will be arriving on the 18th and leaving on the 22nd. I can't wait to see Ian and Tyler. They are getting so big. I'll need to start planning a get together and a few activities while they are here.

Good morning all!
Not much here either...just a Manager's Meeting and some grant writing this afternoon. It's grant season, all of them are due soon, so I do a lot of work on those with my Director.
Good news for me - I fit into a pair of pre-pregnancy jeans this morning! A whole 2 sizes down with NO STRETCH! I was so excited I almost called my DH at work to tell him, but he doesn't get that excited...
Starting at the Y this evening after work. A few gals from work go - so I am going to go with them. Starting a cardio/strenght training program with swim arobics on Thursday. I have never done one of those before - but everyone says they are great, so I am going to try it!

Congratulations for fitting into the pair of jeans. I understand, I think we all understand. I remember the first time I tried on a shirt that wasn't from the plus size department--and it fit--and I cried. I stood in the middle of Macy's bawling--my husband and son just stood there, not knowing what to do.....

I am in the same old rut today too. Work, then possibly a Wally World stop then home.
I rode the bike for an hour last night and did 20 miles! I read while I am riding and the time pretty much flew by.
Not much else going on today, but we are gearing up for the big Christmas party weekend in Rockford.
My husband's company gets all employees rooms at the hotel where the party is held since so many live far away. They also set up a "block" so that those of us who wish may get rooms at a big discount on Friday. We have a whole tradition of taking the kids for Friday night so they can swim with pizza and salad from Lino's. Saturday, they swim in the morning, then we meet the family for lunch and Amber takes the kids home with her. We go back to the hotel (I usually get in a nap) before the party then we go out for lunch with friends on Sunday before picking up the kids. It is a treat that we look forward to each year.
I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers that each of you has an easier load to bear.

Good morning all,
Yesterday was a crazy busy day. too much going on and the afternoon and evening ended up with too much drama, between the nursing home and my daughters car.....
Today the dog woke me up again at 3am to go outside, this is getting really old.
Finally got back to sleep and he started barking again. My 'puter is acting up this am, I have a headache and am in the middle of an overwhelming mess. Too much to do and not enough time to get it done. Thank goodness the grands are with their dad today and part of tomorrow. I am usually very organized and I can't seem to figure out where to start right now............................................... I know this feeling will pass eventually but for right now I don't know whether to cry or scream! maybe it's time for both!

I'm jus****ching the kids today and working on PTO stuff. My laptop is acting up, so I'm in a bad mood. I've been knitting like crazy. When I find some time, I need to get over to Unique Yarns and get in class and learn how to read patterns so I can knitt something else other than a scarf! It's so much fun though! Connie and Kay, I can't wait to show you what I have done!!!
I think I might call the doctor and get in to get a fill soon. I've been at the same weight for about a month or two now and I think I need something to kick it in gear! Heck, if it's going to be in the 40's this weekend, I might go for a run. Better get going, the kiddo's will be home soon!
