HI all.
Same stuff different day today.
I dropped my class yesterday. Now I can breath again.
Sitting here sipping on my protein shake getting my stuff together for school.
I am taking the taxes out to have them done today. I did them myself until about 3 years ago. Then the tax guy found about $6000 worth of hidden cash for me. So I take them to him every year. I don't need to know birthdays or social security numbers or anything. Just give him the W-2s and let him go at it. Works best for me.
Hopefully I can get them done in about a half hour. (I always set up an appointment) So I am not late to my class.
Anyway, thats my exciting day.
Washed the car yesterday. It looks sooo good. (I have a little Honda Element I just bought about 3-4 months ago. I love it. So it makes me feel good when it looks good.

Same stuff here too. Just getting ready for work and drinking a protein shake. I worked late yesterday the extra hours will help. I came home and got on the treadmill for 30 min. I am trying to get into the habit of getting on the treadmill everyday after work. I am feeling so much better these days. I am so tired this morning and just want to crawl back into bed!

Dave, How did things go at DeKalb high yesterday? Were you able to get the principal cornered?
Taxes, Yikes. I thought briefly about working on mine this past weekend but did not get around to it. I too take them to an accountant but still take time to get all my deductions figured out. It takes time to add up all those medical expensis, trips, work deductions, charitiable donations etc.
I did pay bills last night that I had not gotten done over the weekend, so one financial project a weekend is enough.
Lucy, Palm Springs sounds really wonderful, especially as we wake up to more snow. I have been there. I had an Aunt and Uncle live there. It is a beautiful area. Enjoy!

Monica, I cringe when I hear people's hubbies think they can fix things they have no idea how to fix. Good luck on that.! Also good luck on the job front.

My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

I hear we are getting snow again today...yuck. I haven't done my taxes yet, but that's because I do my own and my daughter's, then I have to do her FAFSA (financial aid and loans for college). So it will be a long morning when I decide to do them. I do them myself only because I know how so why pay to have them done. I get about the same refund as I did when I used to have someone else do them. Hey, I'm done with the corporate people for the rest of the week. thank God.
Count down to my last weigh-in 16 more days!!!!! Just think this time next month I may have a surgery date!!! But I'm getting ahead of myself.
Monica- goodluck with both the job and having your hubby fix your car. I'm not sure which one you should worry about more.

Today I am doing more math homework and some cleaning and then Mike and I might take a drive to the Borders in Oakbrook as Kate Gosselin will be there signing her book. I just love that family. She'll be there from 4-6 I was told, so we'll see. Mike offered to drive me, since he knows how uncomfortable I am driving his car...that was nice. Our van won't even be looked at til the weekend.
Other than that, nothing going on today...just gonna try to stay warm!

Good morning IL friends. One more day to fly to California. Man, I wish I left yesterday. It's darn freezing and frigid out there this morning! I knew that when I left, we'd be having some warmer weather. Yes, the forecast is upper 40's for the weekend. That sucks!! OK, enough complaining!
I'm all packed; just the last minute items in the carry-on luggage. My sister called and said it was nice, warm and sunny in Palm Springs. I can't wait to join her!!
Today I have to wrap up things at work, go for a last tan session, and attend my board meeting tonight. I'm so happy that I did my nails last night and the shaving legs thingie too!!
I plan on leaving work early today. Need to pick up a book of stamps.
Dave, I, too am happy when my car looks good! Can I borrow your tax man?? LOL.

I need to leave for work a bit early today, I need to stop and get gas. Last night after I got home, we made a fast trip to Yorkville to check the furbabies for our daughter. I will call her later and let her know they are fine. We also went ot eat at Silver Dollors. For you in the Yorkvill area, they have good food anf resonally priced. Especially for seniors.
