I had a mamogram last week and it was abnormal :( I have history od breast cancer in my family so Im nervous. The breast specialist said she doesnt think its anything to worry about. She said I can do one of two things. I can wait 6 months and have another mamogram or have a biopsy for my peace of mind. Im gonna wait the 6 months. The breast specialist said go ahead with the WLS.

I am sorry to hear about you mamo, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, please keep on top of it, breast cancer is nothing to mess with,
Janet

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

You are in my prayers!
Can you feel the lump?  if so, maybe just keep a "finger" on it...LOL   and if it seems to get bigger or change, then get the biopsy.  Otherwise I think waiting the 6 months is a good idea.
I had a lump they found on a CT scan right after my surgery and they didn't give me the option...I HAD to have the biopsy, luckily it came back benign...I am betting yours is nothing if they gave you the option.

You are definately in my prayers though sweetie.  It's not easy!

Monica

I'm sorry to hear that you have to go through this.

I agree with Monica.  Watch and wait, bu****ch closely.  I have had a few "scares" and now they tell me I just have "fibrous" breasts.  Makes finding a REAL lump kind of hard.......I just keep up with the Mammograms to keep an eye on things.

After the WLS, your breasts will be smaller and easier to examine.

Tell someone that you love them!
