GOOD MORNING MONDAY ROLL CALL

Morning Dave and the rest of my IL family,

Dave, I hope things calm down for ya once you drop that class.

It's Monday and I hate the fact that I have no car.  I have a kid who is sick, but still going to school since he doesn't have a fever, just a really bad cough.  Hopefully it won't get worse, since I will have no way to pick him up.  The hubby doesn't get why I need the van fixed quickly.  He doesn't think of anyone but himself lately.  He wants to try and fix the van himself, which should be interesting, since he works every day and he knows nothing about cars.  I just hope he doesn't end up costing us more money!
I applied for a job at Borders bookstore.  I love books and thought it would be fun to hold me over til I finish school.  Please keep your fingers crossed that they call me.
I will be doing homework today and still doing straightening up around here.  Yesterday the boys and I spent the whole day pretty much cleaning up their room and moving a desk downstairs for them to do homework on.  It's kinda crowded in my "compter room" which is really the dining room, but it's okay, I like the idea of having them close by me when using their computers anyway.
Tonight, Tyler has a Dr's appt to restart the Accutane for his acne and Mike better be home in time for me to use his car!

Have a wonderful, warm and safe day today!

Monica

Hi Monica. Oh, I am so sorry to hear about the van and Tyler being sick again. I hope that you get the job at Borders.

You've got your hands full. I'm amazed that you can keep it all together.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, too!!

Hugs,

Hello Everyone

Its Groundhog Day!!!  Let's hope he doesn't see his shadow.  Although, I have a feeling he will.

Another wonderful week is beginning.  I have another conference call with corporate.  They always make it at the end of the day and I end up leaving later than usuall.  Which does make for a long day for me.

Also, in 17 days is my last weigh- in and they will send my paper work into my insurance company.  I pray there will be a fast approval.

Everyone have a nice week.

Yep, I know about the end of the day conference calls. I've had them with legal.

Take care and have a great week!

Good morning Dave and the rest of Illinois!

Dave, glad to see that you are having such a great morning.  Good luck with Dekalb High School.

We had a nice weekend.  Riley came out Friday night and stayed until about noon yesterday.  She is getting SO grown up.  You can really hold a conversation with her now.  Her, Liv and David played and built lots of Lego and Lincoln Log stuff, along with reading lots of books.  Our house is very busy when she is there.

After she left yesterday, I made an "interesting" chili recipe and some chicken wings for the game.  We went to our neighbor's house to watch the commercials.  I wound up with what I assume was a dumping episode, but I'm not absolutely sure what caused it.  I think it was a combination of things........I had 3/4 of a glass of Moscato wine which is probably too sweet.  I did not have enough hands to hold my glass of wine, my glass of water and my plate, so I drank some of the water and the wine right after eating the top of a piece of pizza.  Within a half an hour, I felt really crappy.........WAY too hot, heart pounding and generally icky.  I went home right after half time and straight to bed.  OK.......no more Moscato for me, and I will DEFINITELY wait at least an hour or more after eating.

We found out Saturday that Amber's grandfather has prostate cancer and it seems too far gone to be treatable.  They have to do some more testing, but it does not look like he will be with us for too much longer.

Friday evening, I made an appointment for Liv with the best Pediatric ENT in our area (in Madison).  Her ear problems need to be solved and we are tired of "wait(ing****il she grows out of it" as her current ENT has suggested.  This is the same doctor who fixed David's sinuses, and we know that she is the best.  We will go to see her in the beginning of March.

Today for me, it is just work, then home to clean up the mess left from yesterday.  I will ride the bike and let the family eat leftovers from last night.

Everyone have a spectacular day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Some folks add sugar to the tomato paste pizza sauce.

No Steeler fans here either.

I had some extra calories yestrday as well and post op they would be a major problem.  I am beginning to look forward to some talks with a good psych pre op.

Good Morning to all in Illinois,

Dave I amsure you will WOW the principal at DeKalb High School.

Monica, I too feel lost when I don't have my van. I hope you get the job.

Crystal and Nancy, Like you, I am at work.

Lucy, I wish I was going with you.

The groundhog seen his shadow, but, each day without snow is one day closer to spring. 34 days until DST kicks in. That seems to always kickstart spring.

I was a nice wife over the weekend, even after venting last week about helping my Hubby with wallpaper, I did finish stripping it off the walls. At least as high as I could reach. I told him him he has this week to finish, since the for rent ad is going in for next Monday.

Have a great day,

Stay safe and warm,

Hugs

Lisa
