Saturday Roll Call

I will look for the Mitsuwa market next time I am in that area.  My oriental market shopping is normally limited to roast pork and roast duck plus a few condiments and some buns with BBQ inside them that DW likes.  There is a nice size oriental market right across Rozelle from us but they do not have fresh cooked foods and looked at me like I was crazy for asking.  I was spoiled in Houston as we had three large oriental communities close to us and oriental markets the size of a Dominicks where they prepared fresh ducks and pigs and you could just tell the man to chop off a pound or cut up half a duck and chose from what was hanging up.  Paletine is not very far from us and I enjoyed the time with DW out of the house which was my main purpose.  I also got a little better idea of how Rand, Hicks/14, Dundee and Palatine run in that area.  Please do ask you Korean friends if there are any places close where they cook and hang the meets like that.
