Thought I would start a thread to see what people are cooking for the Superbowl.  I was thinking about making Pepper Beef, goat cheese/pesto dip, and something else, but I don't' know yet.

We are going to  our daughters best friends house (I call her daughter #2) for a Super Bowl party and I was asked to bring HOT wings and Sweet BBQ wings. My daughter is bringing Chili (yea I can eat that).  I plan to concentrate on the game and friends there and bring some other things that will make it easier for me to avoid the many temptations to eat that will be there.

Hi Natalie!

I will be making chicken wings to take to our neighbor's to watch the game.  Amber gave me a recipe that is really good.  I bake the wings until crispy, then the sauce is made like regular Buffalo sauce (hot sauce and butter) but you add a packet of French Onion Soup mix to the sauce and let them simmer in the crock pot.  It goes over really well.

They will be getting pizza and everyone will bring something "snacky".  Liv wants me to make chili/cheese dip, but we will see.  I will probably sneak a bit of shrimp into my menu as that is really good for me.

Tell someone that you love them!

Hi Dawn,

The shrimp is a good idea too.  Maybe I'll pick up a Shrimp tray so I can have some of that too.  I love shrimp!

Sounds yummy!

I have two small kids who go to bed at 7 p.m., so we don't go anywhere or anything fancy. We'll just hang out and watch at home.

I think I'll make meatballs (the classic grape jelly/chili sauce ones), baby hotdogs wrapped in crescent rolls and cheese and cracker type stuff.

Maybe we'll order in a pizza.

When the kids are older and can stay up to enjoy the game, we'll start to have people over and stuff.

Probably nothing much at all. I do not get into the s'bowl. I probably will be burned out from futzing around the house and starting to sew my new fleece vest that I have the washed fabric ready for.

I was thinking of a white chicken chili...although the Super Bowl just isn't the same without my Titans :(
