Hey guys-

So I woke up today really excited....Five days away from my sleep study and three adys away from psych thing

Got even more excited when sleep people called to confirm my appointment....THEY SAID THEY HAD AN OPENING TODAY!!!!! I TOOK IT

Well thats when life got difficult MacNeal called at 9:30 moved my appt to today.

THEN
at 1230 I got a call from them saying oh wait we can't do it today because there is something wrong with your order, they got it last week and I guess they are just looking at it today

therefore they wanted to cancel....BUT WAIT THEY ALREADY BOOKED SOMEONE ELSE ON MY APPOINTMENT FOR NEXT MONDAY

then they said well let us try to get ahold of the doctor. to change the diagnoses on the order

they call me back to say the doctor doesn't know me well enough to change it (she's my primary)

great

so now i have no sleep study and there are no openings until the middle of february....CAN'T WAIT

i;m sooo hurt and pissed

I really am just thinking about hitting the dieting again and not going through this....

Please do not throw in the towel that quick, sometimes there is a reason why things happen this way. If you believe in a higher power (God in my case) you know that He has plans for each of us and it is all in His time and not ours. Maybe He is teaching you patience or there is something else He is not showing to you right now. I have been in a similar situation with my WLS journey and had all doors and windows were slammed and shut for a whole year and yes I was hurt also but there were other underlying reasons for my health issues. I came through one year later and had my surgery.

Please reconsider.

Christine-

I really appreciate your kind words.  Like they say when all doors are closed god opens a window....and he did through my hubby

I called my hubby crying my heart out to him. God Bless him...He remembered that my pulmonologist offered to write me an order at the visit.

Since I was in class My hubby called the pulmonologist they faxed over an order ASAP and at 5:00 I got a call saying I could still come in today....He really is a gem to me...DId I mention he was in MN scheduling some military stuff at the time...talk about multi tasking

So thank you again for your kind words i read them during class and they helped out..

So as long as all goes well on Saturday and I get my letter from the psycologist...I am good to go  YAY!!!!!!!!

thanks again

Hang in there.. it is stressful jumping thru all the hoops but I guarentee it will be all worth it in the end.  Keep your chin up, stay positive and remember why you are doing t his.

Hi-

Just like everyone else said...don't throw in the towel.  It can be very frustrating dealing with all of the various doctor's offices.  It may seem as though you are either making doctor's appointments, leaving messages to make these appointments, or waiting for someone to return your calls. Yes, it is frustrating--but in the end--it will all be worth it!!

Just take a deep breath, roll your eyes, and hang in there!!!
