Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

HURRAY FOR DRAINS COMING OUT!  Im glad you are doing better and that they kept you overnight too.  How are you feeling otherwise?  How are you healing?  You will have to let us know how it feels to be so skinny!  Take care and keep us posted!

I am doing so much better,  I am healing great all the steri strips are gone no open wounds so all is good, and you said how does it feel to be skinny, I don't know I don't feel skinny  I don't know if I ever will, I still like that very over weight person I was I have heard that it can take years for your head to catch up with your body  ,
So how are you doing?
Take care,
Janet

It is not uncommon to have only one of the drains taken out especially if the one that is in is still draining. It is better to leave it in and be a little uncomfortable from it than to develope a seroma under the skin.

Hi Janet. It's good to hear that you are coming along nicely. Chris is right about the seromas. Better to have the drain in a little longer, then develop a seroma. Just ask me the seroma queen! I got them in my thighs after my thighplasty and later on in my abdomen from my lower body lift (after 8 months of surgery). That was rare indeed!

Your head will catch up with your new body eventually! We all went through the same image issues.

Congrats!
Lucy
