Sunday Roll Call
Lisa, it's funny because a year ago I wouldn't have been able to keep up with the things I do now. I am SO thrilled about my surgery and am just loving being on the go all the time! I am betting in a month I will start counting down the time until Tyler starts baseball!!
Of course once I am working agian, that might all change! LOL

A frosty good morning to all my IL friends. Glad to see your visit w/Dr. Guske went well Lucy. When I was sick in Nov. he was the only doc from the Kane group that treated me like a person. I know what you've been going through-I was tossing my cookies for so long I was dehydrated, They emptied my band so now I need a fill, but w/no insurance that no going to happen. Stay motivated and I will keep you in my prayers-you can do it!!! I've been fortunate not to be able to maintain since then but losing is at a stall. Monica what vitamins do you take to keep up at your busy pace-you amaze me. Lisa you're looking so good-enjoy your veg day. Dee I am so sorry things are so topsy turvy for you. Lisa might be right- if not a nursing home situation is there a home health agency that offer some relief for you. I know quite a few women who dirve school buses or Septran vans and love it!! Take care of you and stay in touch. Paulette I hope Mickey and Minnie find new digs soon-mice wierd people out and carry so much disease. Ihad a problem w/field mice every winter in ****ro. I have been lurking-work is very busy and Eddie is on me like white on rice as soon as I get home. He doesn't do well alone and his depression is worse w/this insurance situation. Now UPS wants to evaluate him for vocational rehab or they will separate us from the company completely. I can't figure out what they think a man who can't hold a pen or type and is almost blind in one eye can do-but it should be interesting. I just got a Xmas pic of Baby Lincoln so I will let you all know when I post it-he is not such a baby now and will be the ring bearer this Oct.9 when his mom and dad tie the knot. I send love and HUGE HUGS
to all of you and will try to stay in touch more-stay warm-Janet K

Hi Janet. I'm glad to hear from you. I just love Dr. Guske. He's my favorite of the entire Kane Group. Then comes Dr. Wallace and Dr. Kane.
I'm sorry to hear about your financial situation and the insurance. That stinks. I'm happy to hear that you've maintained. That makes you a success.
Baby Lincoln is not a baby anymore. Wow, how time flies!
Please keep in touch. We miss you!
Take care sweetie.
Hugs,
Lucy

Hi Lucy! and Illinois friends,
I am happy to hear things are going well for you Lucy! Sounds like you are as busy as ever.
Not much new with me, yesterday I had lovely day shopping with my daughter. We had early lunch at Sweet Tomatoes, I thought I saw Randy there??
It was the best eating out experience yet and I was so worried with all the options. I did just fine with mini tastes of my favorites and some new things. I guess I am fortunate not to have food issues. Of course this worries me at times as I never seem to have Dumping syndrome when I indulge in say few M&M's, I thin****ep that in check by only having small amount of sweets. Anyone else notice that they are able to tolerate more sugar than expected?
Today I have to confess my Christmas tree is finally coming down. I enjoyed it so much but it is rather weird to drive up to my house and see it in the window, I know how to procrastinate really well. With the glass ornaments all wrapped in acid free paper and boxed up, its big job. I am half done.
Have a wonderful day and awesome week everyone.

Hi Cathy. Nice to see you here.
I know about keeping the tree up. I took my down last Sunday. I hate to put the stuff away as I have to store my items in the garage.
I was surprised that I don't dump on sweets. That would have been a blessing!
Take care and good luck with getting the Christmas decorations and tree put away today.
Have a great day.
Lucy
I went to a few places in Arlington Heights, Rolling Meadows and Hoffman Estates yesterday but Sweet Tomatoes was not one of them. I thought I was going to church this morning but my body was not ready when DW had to take off so she could serve in Harvest. I watched last weeks message again though and will watch this weeks message later. One of my goals in life is to be able to have folks churches brought to folks homes or beds, via technology, when they cannot be there. Being able to get the messges is great but church is so much more than that.
