Dee, Between your mother and your husband trying to make you get a job, no wonder you are down a bit. I know you don't wan t to hear this, but what about a nursing home for your Mom?It may be the best answer to a situation that you really cannot continue.

A bus driving job would be ideal for you.

Hugs Lisa

Is medicare or medicaid providing your Mom a caregiver?  Will they provide her with lifts from the bed and a lift chair?

Randy

So you have been forgiven?

Good morning Lucy and Illinois.

I haven't been around a lot lately, seems like everything had piled on me again, and I don't want every post I make a downer, but I need to vent a little, and here it goes...

I can't lift my mom anymore.  It is killing me.  I strained my back again, and still having shoulder and neck problems.  If I don't quit lifting her, I could end up disabled for life.

Mom has severe bronchitis, and I am worried about that.  I know mom has been through a lot, and I don't expect her to be around forever, but it is hard to explain.  My father died when I was 12, and for years it was just mom and me since my siblings are 18, 16, and 13 years older than me.

My DH is on me to get a job.  We really need the money, just hard to find one, and especially with the hours I need.  I may have to end up at fast food place.  Don't really want too, but I need something.  It is hard when you haven't worked for 10 years.

My 41st birthday is Friday, and it i****ting me harder than my 40th...lol  I think I am PMSing.  I need chocolate.

Eating has been bad, and I haven't really cared.  I have no support except for what I get here.

Sorry for the vent, sometimes you just need too.

Dee

If you have a good drivers license and no felonies. Go try to be a school bus driver.

They usually train you and the pay is pretty good. It depends on where you live, but my company starts at $11 if they have to train you and up to $15 with experience.

It ends up being 2 hours in the AM and 2 hours in the afternoon.

They are perfect hours for going to school. Thats why I'm there.

Plus you get to collect unemployment during the summer. Then go back to work when school starts again. Its a win/win for me.

Where are you located?

Hi Lucy,

I am so glad things are starting to go better for you.  It's all in how we think about it.  I am at school working.  This is my busiest time of year. I have a student coming in at 9 for some testing and then I'll be writing up reports for the rest of the day except for when I go to the health club.

i have an appt. to learn some of the equipment with the weights.  I am also trying to start using my wii fit before iI go to school in the morning and get to the health club after school.  I'm trying hard this week to plan more of my food.

I will send your regards to Beth.  I'll see her in a couple of weeks.  She is coming to see my daughter in the BG park district's play high School musical coming up soon.  I definitely want to get together with you after your trip.  I marked the date in m calendar and will call you when you get back.

You are still an inspiration to me.  I am so glad we met.  i cannot believe we're coming up on four years. It seems like yesterday.

Take care.

Aleece

Hi Aleece.

I'm still on the computer and just finished my morning coffee. Now, time for me to exercise and then I'll feel great!

Sorry to hear that you are at work today. Ugh!

Congrats on your daughter being in the BGHS musical. I bet she's be a hit.

I, too can't believe we're coming to our 4th year anniversary. Ah, the joys of the 1st year after surgery. It was the best. Me, inspiring? Maybe once I am back to 158. I am getting there this year.

It was so good to hear from you. I am looking forward to getting together when I get back from Palm Springs.

Take care too!

Lucy,

You are an inspiration.  Remember the number does not matter.  I know you will get down to where you want.  You have to keep remembering where you came from a long time ago.  You are a differnt person than that.  You have come a long way on this journey and you will continue to reach for your goal and you will get there.

Keep the faith.

Aleece

P.S.  I remember when Beth saw you at your anniversary party at the hospital.  She said that you had gained some weight and that you still looked terrific, which you do even if I haven't seen you or a while.

All good today.

My battery is about to die on the laptop, so I am typing fast.

My date went pretty good yesterday. She is a nice lady. I will probably got back out with her.

Church today in about 2 hours, so I am starting to get up and get ready for that.

My son is really starting to like the church and the kids there. It is what I would hope would happen. He goes to the youth group meetings on wednesday nights and I think there is a girl there that he likes. Of course, he won't tell me that.

Its a balmy 1 degree today. Once it goes back up to around 30 I may go find a creek to swim in it is going to feel so good.

Everyone have a good day.

Another lazy day planned for me today. We did get a fine dusting of snow, but it is over now.

Monica, I really don't know how you keep up with everything.

Lucy, STAY MOTIVATED!

Hi Lisa. I'm done with my exercise and just had breakfast - 1 egg and mushroom veggie burger for 20g of protein. So far, it is staying down. I am satisfied, not full to the brim, as it should be.

Soon going to the store for some salad, veggies and yogurt, and maybe ricotta cheese. Dawn got me thinking about variety yesterday.

Take care dear friend.

Huggers to you too!
