Pumonologist?

Hi everyone,

Did anyone have to go and get a chest x-ray done before you visited a Pumonoligist? and what types of test did you have performed?

Omar,that is a lung Dr. They do a bunch of breathing test and possibly a sleep study. Its to make sure you are healthy.

I had to go to see the pulmonologist.  I had to have a sleep study and other tests done.  They wanted to make sure that there wouldn't be any issues with the breathing tube when I was having the surgery.

I had to have a chest x-ray during my pre-surgical testings.

When I went to the pulmonologist I had no x-rays done.  He had me sleep with a pulse -ox machine.  He wanted to see if there was a possibility of sleep apnea.  There wasn't thank god.  I think every doctor runs different tests and every patient needs different tests done.
