Hi everyone!

Lots of news from everyone today...I love keeping up with everyone's going ons!

I am just as work today.  I have a presentation to 75 third graders this afternoon about fire safety.  That should be fun!

Also having the in laws over for dinner tonight.  I am making 'roast' chicken in the Pampered Chef covered baker (in the microwave).  It will cook a whole chicken in 30 minutes.  You just slather with olive oil and any seasons you want and nuke it.  It is so moist and lovely...I love Pampered Chef products!  I am making other stuff for them too, but for me it is still only protein, just 23 more days till veggies!   Can't wait...

Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi Norma. I'm a coffee lover, too. Take it slow, but enjoy the coffee. You'll know soon enough if it bothers your stomach.

I caught up on most  of the books I needed to check in and put away, I just have a few that weren't on the sign-out sheet, so I want to log the titles in before I put them away.  My first week of work is over.  Oh darn, it only lasted 4 days.  Next week, I'll have to start getting up earlier, as I want to get into the pool at the Vaughn Athletic Center in Aurora by 5:30.  That gives me plenty of time in the pool, to wash up, and get in to work.

Today is my DH's last day at work before he "reitres" (with no real money).  He will be helping out at the office at least next week, but it will be at 1/2 salary.  He is putting feelers out with people who do business with the company he works for.  Some of his co-workers wanted to say "good-bye" to him, so they were going to go out somewhere for some drinks.  I don't know when he will get home.

It is almost three weeks and I am still stalled.  I am having 1/2 cup of pureed food (pureed soup or chili) about 3 times a day and protein drinks the rest of the meals.  I am moving around more now that I am back at work.  I figure I am still healing, so hopefully the weight loss will start up again.

I wish everyone well.  Have a great weekend.

Hi Ilse. Sorry to hear about your DH's loss of job (unless he wanted to retire). I think you're doing quite well with your weight loss. It will pick up again. It happened to me too, and I'm sure others on this board.

The morning exercise in the pool sounds heavenly!

Take care and have a wonderful weekend!

HI ALL.

Didn't post anything this AM.

I am getting sick of chili, fish,  and turkey meatballs. I am looking for something I can eat.

SO I am looking around.

Any Ideas anyone? I am 5 weeks out. I am thinking of eating a can of Wedding Soup tonight.  It looked really good at the store so I bought it.

What does everyone eat for breakfast? I am so sick of eating a protein shake for b-fast. I just don't have time to make anything. I want to stay in bed until 4:30-4:45 and I usually am gone by 5(ish).

Maybe I will go see if I can get some sugar free instant oatmeal at Walmart.

I am just sick of what I have to eat.

Does anyone eat Kielbasa or sausage and sour kraut?  I am afraid of making a pot and not being able to eat it.

Any suggestions?

Hi Dave. I used to eat low fat swiss cheese on a white cheddar cheese rice cake. Topped it off with roasted red pepper. Yummy!

You could try making an egg omelet the night before, put it in the fridge and then reheat it in the morning. Add salsa to it if you like.

Just two ideas right now. You don't have to eat breakfasty things in the morning. Any protein will do.

I remember getting tired of puree foods and couldn't wait to eat anything - salads, vegetables, fruits, etc...

It will get better soon.

Well, THANK GOD I am out of puree'd foods.

I think I would rather eat a bullet then puree'd foods again.

I think I lived on cottage cheese and water for 2 weeks.

I am really not used to cooking. I used to go out to eat for every meal.

Dinner is when my son and I went out to Buffalo Wild Wings or Ruby Tuesdays.

I am trying not to go out to eat but about once a month, but I un out of foods to make.

I only know about 5 dishes. Becides spagetti, home made pizza, or other carb packed foods that I really don't want to eat.

So I have eaten eating turkey meatballs, steamed fish, and chili so much I think it is coming out of my ears.

I am actually baking some chicken with lemon pepper on it. I am hoping it tastes good.

I am starting to feel like I am on a forced Atkin's diet. I have to eat protein which is usually meat, and I can only eat so much.
