ANY SUGGESSTIONS
I suggest you get a bottle from GNC and eat 4 times the amount the bottle says.

Also Sautday is supposed to be a little warmer. Go outside and try to let the sun hit you. You get Vit D from the sun too.

I can't believe your doctor didn't put you on prescription Vit D!!!!
That's silly... I would call back and ask if they can put you on Rocaltrol or the generic version Calcitriol (Rocaltrol (calcitriol) is a synthetic vitamin Danalog which is active in the regulation of the absorption of calcium from the gastrointestinal tract and its utilization in the body.) I take .5 mcg (it's a SMALL pill) once an evening w/my calcium...my levels have all regulated out and I feel better then ever! Plus, my insurance pays for it, so it's free!!!
I had thyroid cancer 8-1/2 years ago and they had to take out my thyroid and my parathyroid (The parathyroid glands are small endocrineglands in the neck that produce parathyroid hormone. Humans have four parathyroid glands, which are usually located behind the thyroid gland, and, in rare cases, within the thyroid gland or in the chest. Parathyroid glands control the amount of calcium in the blood and within the bones.) So my calcium levels have been low and my Vit D level have been low since my GB surgery.... ever since my doctor put me on the Calcitriol my levels have all regulated out.... trust me, the prescription would be MUCH better/easier then taking 4Xs the amount!!!!
Good luck!

You sound like a walking medical book.. Great information my friend.
Last fall you replied to my posts about Vit D levels.. since then, I have been told I also have low Vit B and was diagnosed with Thyroid disease. My doc still will not put me on a script for Vit D as you suggested but maybe I'll push the issue again. You're right.. one pill vs four is much easier.
Hope your doing well.

LOL! No, not a walking medical book by any means... I googled the discriptions as I wrote so people wouldn't have to look it up on their own... that way the entire post is explained....
My endocrinologist was the one who prescribed it to me... I tell you, I really would push for it, MUCH easier!
I'm doing really well... down 114 pounds... feel better then I've ever felt!!!
I hope your thyroid is okay... are they going to have to take it out?
Have a great day!
