TUESDAY ROLL CALL

Paul, ((((HUGS)))) I know where you are coming from because Dave is in the same boat still almost a year afterwards. We are a little older than you so we are now seriously talking about both of us throwing the towel in. Dave (62) can draw social security this Aug. and I seriously think that my head is on the chopping block. My village has a new administration in this April and the ones that are running are noted for being real "buggers" and "bean counters".

Dear Chris:

I too thought that Dave signed a contract and was back to work.  Sorry to hear that I was mistaken.

Hang in there, and retirement sounds like fun if you can swing it financially.  The stress is sometimes just not worth it.

Signed a contract - yes but you need to sell product in order to get compensated. Even the major sized companies like Verizon or T-Mobile are not buying anything.

I am up and about ready to get moving here and be on my way into work.

Going to bring up one of the live news services to run in the background on my work computer and listen to the inauguration.

Good Morning Dave and Illinois Friends!

Dave, I am glad you got to be first this morning.  It's a difficult job, but someone has to do it.    It sounds like you have a long day today.  Don't get too pooped.

Dee I am sure it will be hard tonight.  It will take a few times before your group moves on.  I imagine there will be a big void tonight.

Crystal, don't feel bad that the employee is not "getting it"  Sometimes we are just not cut out for certain jobs.  I did some training with someone and I too wanted to tear my hair out.  She did not last and I knew from the get go that this was going to be the case.  It was not a good fit.

I wish I could watch today's inauguration   but of course I have to work.  I guess that is what DVR's are for.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning Dave and IL friends.

Chris, I didn't realize that DH was still out of work. I remember him having an interview out of state somewhere for consulting? Sorry to hear that.

Crystal - I sure do know what you mean about training. Been there, done that!

Dee - enjoy your time babysitting. Hope I got it right.

Nancy - have an enjoyable day.

Me, well I am at work and have another meeting later this morning. At least I don't have to leave the hospital today.

My home appraisal went well yesterday. Now to find out how much it's worth. I should be having my closing next Monday.

I'm thinking I will keep my appointment with Dr. Guske this Friday. I'm going to ask him to remove half of my total fill. I got to find the right amount for me.

Have a great day and enjoy the Presidential festivities.

Hugs,
Lucy

I just wanted to stop by and tell you that I hope you feel better soon and good luck with the appraisal.  We are also refinancing to lower our rate and get a new roof and deck.

Hi Dawn. Thanks for your message. Actually, I am paying off my home equity loan and turning it into a mortgage and paying off my other bills. It sickens me to do this but I have no options.

I had paid off my mortgage years ago and now I'm back in the hole.

I sure hope that things get better with my band. Now I feel like I shouldn't have gone through this. Can't do anything about it now.

Take care.
Lucy

Lucy, sorry for the late reply. Yes Dave did have interviews last year at about this time of year. He has signed two contracts but you have to sell product to make money. So therefore he still considers himself to be unemployed. Even some of the big customers are not buying. These of course would be the companies from the cell phone industry.

Good news is that he is being brought down to TX in early February (or so the company says) for training. This company is very slow moving.

Good luck on the next step in your appraisal and closing.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
