1 week out-Thank you all!!

Well, it has been a week since my Lap RNY surgery.   I just want to Thank Everyone for their wonderful tips, support, wishes, and prayers. 

All went great with the surgery--no surprises (which is always a good thing).  I was in the hospital from Monday evening until Thursday afternoon.  Glad to be back home!  So far so good with the Full Liquid Diet--I can't wait to graduate to Pureed/Blended Foods. 

I called Dr Wallace's office because I was concerned with the amount of protein that I was trying to get in each day.  His nurse said that I could take a Liquid Whey Protein, which I dilute with my water.  Getting the water in isn't too bad...but I feel that I am constantly drinking water.

I got the staples out in the hospital--so now my first appointment on Thursday will be to remove the drain.  That should be a treat.  I don't even want to think about it!  =)
