I found that if I take my vitamins and eat immediately I'm good...if I wait 15 minutes to eat....feeling sick. Do you get your vitamins thru BMI?

Try getting up 15 minutes earlier next week...then 20 minutes earlier the following week and 30 minutes the week after....see if that helps.
Have a cup of some warm decaf tea or coffee before eating while getting ready in the morning.  It may help to get you ready to eat.

Good Freezing morning everyone!

I cant believe the kids are off school again today!  I am about to lose my mind!  I HAVE to leave the house today as my cabin fever is at its peak!  I am going up to take a shower and even if we just go to the mall or walmart we have to go out.

Noah and Jeff have their cubscout campout at the Field Museum tonite to sleep with the dinasours.  Kind of like Night at the Museum.  They are taking the train downtown and then a taxi to the museum.  BYE BYE NOW!!  At least I will have about 24 hours of peace.  They will be home in the morning but I am going to the ABMC support group meeting and then I am going to pick up a JIM SHORE figurine I bought off of Craigs list. I have to bring Brigid with me, but she will be fine with a coloring book and crayons and a snack.. She is a good girl.

My goal is to get the boys to the train station this afternoon on time, and then come home and play and relax with Brigid.

I hope everyone stays warm and healthy today and has a great weekend!!

I hope to see some of you tomorrow at the ABMC support group meeting!

The walk into the lunch room area is a major distance for me.  I made it a few times when DW was in there for surgery and it just about killed me.  Maybe in a month or two I will have built up my walking to not feel that way.  What do the folks who are really large do?  Is there a closer way in than the front entrance or the one on the West end?  It would seem the ER would have a quick path to the lunchroom but then no where to park.

So you have been forgiven?

Hey I'm actually getting the computer before 11pm in the evening.
So i'm making the best of it...although he is screaming for me to hurry.

I hope everyone that is sick in body gets well soon.  And Dawn I will say a pray for your nephew.
And welcome to all my new facebook friends and if anyone wants to add me i'm under...
Angie Sargent-Fritz, so add me.

I'm with Eileen I'm about to go crazy being stuck in this house, i've been in the house other than going to wal mart once for milk for 6 days.  Tomorrow with the temp going to be around 26 will seem like a heat wave...run around the neighborhood in shorts, flip flops and tank top....

I have a pain in the butt neighbor, had to call the police on him and one of his buddies, at 12:36 got woke up to yelling and screaming. I even went next door to tell them to keep it down and he decided to get lippy, so I told him thats it from now on I hear any noise after 10pm and I'll be calling the police.  We've had nothing but trouble with him and his friends since I moved here, I think thats why I hate it here so much.  I've never had neighbors like him.  If its not him and his friends it his 2 darned dogs barking and barking.  Well the police said they would love to get him out of this town, from what I'm learning he is not very welcome where ever he has lived.  I hate having to be a neighbor that is calling the police all the time, but I want him gone and so do afew of the other neighbors.

Ok I vented thank you!!!

Everyone hang in there this weather will pass!!!

Big Hugs,
Angie

Good Morning Everyone,

I am technically still on a 10-day vacation until Monday night, but I got a call to come into work tonight for overtime (actually, double-time).  As much as I would love to stay home, I am being bogged down with bills, so I said I would work.

I'm feeling better these days, but still not cleared for Physical Therapy by the pain doctor. He wants to wait and see me in two weeks.  I am getting restless just sitting around...but I have been able to catch up on my DVDs and reading.

I can't wait for this winter to be over!!!

think warm thoughts,
Paula

 Hi Ilse and Illinois Friends!

Well, it is starting to warm up here!  It is only -2 so much warmer today than yesterday!  Things are looking up.

Yesterday sure was a hectic day.  I started out at the dentist which is always an expensive place for me to go.  I spent $7,000 on my teeth 2 years ago and now he wants to crown 6 more teeth.    He tells me it will be the last of my teeth problems.  I sure hope so.  I am so tired of having bad teeth.  I inherited them from both sides of the family.  Plus, my mom did not get enough calcium when she was pregnant with me -- thanks mom.

I went from there to my PCP and he strolls in to work and hour late.    Now I had carefully scheduled my appointments yesterday so that I could take only 1 day off work and with my PCP being late that meant I was going to be late for my surgeon's appointment or have to reschedule.

After much negotiating and firm refusal to reschedule they agreed to take me out of order.  I had the first appointment but others got there before me so they were already in the exam rooms even before the doctor got there.  What happened to appointment times.    Well it ended working out pretty much ok.  I was only a little over 1/2 hour late for my surgeon and they always seem ok with that as it is a 2 hour drive.

My PCP has given me a prescription for water physical therapy at our YMCA.  I need to get started with an exercise program to break this stall but with my knees it has been impossible to exercise.  So I now have a workable plan!

Surgeons appointment went great.  She is excited about my physical therapy plans and agrees that is the way to go to get the weight loss moving again.

I did not go to my sisters as the kids were sick.  I did not want to come down with an  extreme sore throat.  My sister came over to the surgeons office and picked up the presents.  It was nice of her to do that.  We really did not get a chance to visit.  She thought she was coming down with the same stuff the kids have.  Ugh!

I got home safely.  Since I had arranged to have the day off today, I decided to keep it and not have to go outside and fight this cold.  So I am staying inside and warm.

Dawn, I am sorry to hear about your nephew.  How frightening.  Prayers going up for him.  Carla, prayers for you as you start your treatment.  Janet, hope your swelling goes down soon.  It has to be uncomfortable.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good Afternoon my frozen friends

I got up this morning and actually ventured out.  It was a bitter -16 but honestly it wasn't windy so it wasn't as bad as I expected.  Don't get me wrong, it was still COLD!  lol

The boys are home from school again, the call came last night already, but Tyler still has a wrestling meet today and tomorrow, so I will be venturing out again later to head to Wheaton North High School and tomorrow out to Downer's Grove High School. oh well, I actually really enjoy going to his sporting events.  Mike has to work tonight so it will just be me.

I hit the 100 pounds gone forever yesterday!!!  I was SOOO excited and when I came dancing downstairs and told everyone, it was like "oh okay"  It brought me down very quickly.  I don't know why I still look for that "approval" or whatever it is, but it helps keep me focused.

oh well, have a happy, warm and safe day!

Monica

Monica, you have our approval. 100 lbs gone is great. That is the main differance between Gastric Bypass and Lapband. You lose it so much quicker then we do. But, then again, Lapbanders do catch up. Make sure you get a century card up.

Huggers
