Thursday Roll Call
I got to work with no problems this morning and stayed nice and toasty too.
I LOVE Dave's comment about the remote start. I have one similar to his, but not at 5:30 am.......
I had to go out to the garage and get it started myself.
Dee--at least you got the interveiw. Maybe that "foot in the door" will be what you need. You can explain your situation and maybe they will have something that suits you, or you can get on a list for afternoon work. I have said a prayer for your friends too.
Not much exciting happening for me today, just work, home, bike and dinner.
Everyone have an awesome day and stay safe and WARM!
I will be praying for all of US folks going through so much. As a man I would love to fix all of the problems. As a man of a certain age I have learned better.
It is so odd to be sitting here, turning my notebook screen to avoid the bright sunlight and yet my widget says it is negative thirteen outside. I opened the balcony door and stuck my head out when I got up. If I do not do that ice forms up on the rails too thick to move the doors and my claustrophobia goes wild.
Y'all have a great day.
Paul
Yes, it is cold! I will have to go out later, or maybe just wait until tomorrow to do my errands. It will depend on what I get done today. I have cleaned one bathroom, and stopped to eat some breakfast. I want tto tackle, or at least start on another closet today. With me taking everything out of the closets, and dumping things in one room, I will have have to clean it when I am done.
Yesterday I had no problems either getting to work or home. We then went out for supper and was home by 7:30. So, lunch and/or supper tonight will be leftovers.
Dee, i have some peppermint coffee here. I am sorry, but we are to far apart for me to shelp over with some for you. I guess you will have to go out and get some.

Crystal, Lucy, Dawn and Christina, I am so sorry that you all had to leave so early for work this morning. Hopefully it will be a bit warmer for your home commute this evening.
Nancy, be careful traveling today.
Stay warm, stay safe, and have a wonderful day. At least the sun is shining.
Hugs
Lisa
Well there is no school today and all sporting events have been cancelled do to this crazy weather! So I don't have to go outside at all today....yay!!
I have no plans other than to work on my research paper for school and hang out with the boys!
I hope everyone is staying warm and very safe today!! IF you have to go outside, please please dress warm and keep as much covered up as possible!!
Good Afternoon Everyone,
I have decided not to go out of the house until it is at least 70 degrees outside. It's funny--last year at this time I would have just grabbed a jacket--not a heavy coat--just jacket and not given it a second thought--but now I wear 20 layers of clothes and that is in the house....My cats are curled up in my lab--Furbus, my 13 year old, likes to lay his head on the warm keyboard while I type. They help me stay warm.
I went to a gastric bypass support group meeting Tuesday night. This was my first one. Interesting--might I say. We had the pre-ops, recent post ops, post ops, wls graduates. We had the ones that blame their "failure" on the surgery--we had the ones who knew everything, no matter what the topic was....again, interesting; but I will go back next month--I'm hooked.
Everyone stay warm and safe. You all are in my prayers each and every day.

No school today due to the weather, so both kids home and nowhere to go. Oh my!
Just trying to keep everyone happy and busy and make it thru the day. Been making hot chocolate, bowls of ceral, waffles, all kinds of "kid" comfort food, then mac and cheese for lunch. Everyone seems happy so far. Thank God!
Just catching up on posts, emails, etc... and my new addiction, Facebook. If anyone is on there, send me an invite, would love to keep in touch there.
Again a plug for the ABMC support grooup on Saturday. Hope to see some of you there! I will have to bring Brigid as Noah and Jeff are camping at the Field Museum on Friday night. Ill bring crayons and coloring books and she will be good to go, she loves to color now.
I hope everyone stays warm and healthy in this crazy weather!
