Good morning Illinois!

I never write in blue, can you figure out why?  I am freezing!!  No school around here today.

Updates on me....I have a job interview Monday at a hospital.  I am excited and not excited.  I really needed afternoons, and this is for a morning shift.  I have no idea what I would do with my mom.

My friend's husband was admitted to the hospital right after the funeral, and is still in the hospital.  He was just getting over chemo before she died, and he came down with pnemonia, and they had to drain fluid off a lung.  He is hanging in there.  Prayers would be great for him and his boys.  The names are Donnie, Dustin and Josh.

Well, I hope everyone stays warm, and tries to have a great day!

Hello everyone

It's cold out there today.  I had to scrape my windows on my car and I felt like I was getting frost bite.  It takes me about 30 mins to drive to work and it took almost all thirty minutes for my car to warm up.  BRRRRRR 

The corporate people are here but they didn't get here till 4pm yesterday (because of a flight delay).  So today will be the day they come to judge us.  Did I mention how much I dislike these people. 

Dee-  I will definitely keep you friends in my prayers. 

Stay warm everyone if you don't have to leave your house stay inside.

I know about the car warming up.  DH works about 15 minutes away, and he said the car hadn't warmed up at all...lol  I told him I was nice and cozy...I am mean that way...lol

Good morning Frozen people!

Today is a good day for a warm woolen sweater! I remember making one in college that was so warm and thick it could almost stand up by itself. Unfortunately it bit the dust years ago. I might try to put it on today! All I can say is be careful! Stay warm!

Good morning Dee and Illinois friends!

I still swear that I moved to the frozen tundra.  I think I just saw one of these outside my window.    It is a nice -15 here this morning with wind chills of -37.  This is the day I go to my dentist, my PCP and my surgeon.  My surgeon is a good 1 1/2 hours away.  I am going from that visit to my sisters who lives only 30 miles from there.  That will save me driving back home again in this cold.  I plan to stay the night. 

One thing that I have on my car that I absolutely LOVE is a remote starter.  I got it 2 years ago for Christmas and it is worth every dime!  I can get into a warm car and that is so worth it. 

Try to stay warm today folks and drive carefully.  Crystal, my thoughts are with you today.

Yesterday I was shopping at Target and guess what I found?? SUMMERTIME STUFF - BIKINIS AND LOTS OF THEM!!! So many of them are cute too. I didn't buy any though, because of my regain and $$$$. I have so many anyway! I'll just wait for the sales. So all you skinny mini's out there and you know who you are, take a chance!

Today is at least a no meeting work day for me! YAY!!! I have a meeting tomorrow morning.

I got sick on chicken last night with my band and had to bring it up. When that happens, I am miserable!  I'm better this morning though.

It was a very cold bitter commute to work. Thank goodness I didn't have to take the train or bus. I remember those days as a kid.

If you don't have to go out in this weather, don't! It's not worth it. Enjoy the warmth of your home.

My mom was released from the hospital yesterday. Thanks for all the prayers you sent her way. MIL was told her pt was going really well and may be released on Saturday. We shall see....

Please keep safe out there...I pray you keep warm and your car continues to start til you are home safely this evening.

Its cold. I didn't want to get out of bed today. Last night was the first time I got under both sets of my flannel sheets.

I was so warm and toasty. My duplex keeps the heat pretty well, but it it freezing outside.

Nancy, I have a remote starter too. His name is Michael and he is 14. He is out of school. Mine cost alot more then yours.

Anyway, getting ready for school.

I have court today too. My ex wife likes to take me to court every couple months to see if she can get anything else out of me. One of my daughters wants to live with me now.  So this summer I am taking her to live with me. My ex is going to have a stroke when the child support stops. She might even have to get a job.

its flipping freezing outside!!!! at least this is only going to be brutal for 2 days. then its back up in the 30s and prob another 3 feet of snow dumped on us!!!  =)

so, yesterday, i decided to be stupid and swing my arm to close a door.  why is this stupid you ask? well, because i missed the door and hit a wall instead and broke the middle finger of my left hand.  grrrrrrr!!!!  good thing i'm not a leftie!!  =)  this little bugger HURTS!!  i hope this won't affect my chance to get into this health challenge i eluded to the other day.  not sure if i can tell you full details or not yet. =) i should at least wait until i'm a part of it.  hey, if i'm willing to do this with a broken finger, shows determination, right? lol  i still have 9 other fingers that work just fine and i didn't break my hand!!

Good Morning All -

Wow.. what a miserable morning.  My car never did warm up all the way to work.  I dropped off some dry cleaning and just walking from the parkinglot into the drycleaners I swear it fealt like I had no pants on.  Oh my, it was cold.

So, yesterday at work we had auditors come in.  Should have been here today but showed up yesterday.  Well, it did not go so great.  I'm sure there is going to be some a$$ chewings going on the rest of the week. 

I was amazed that we were busy at Outback last night.  Who in there right mind goes out in this weather if they don't have to.  I guess a lot of people in Wheaton.  LOL  Anyhow, it was good for me since Monday and Tuesday were really depressing nights.  I have to close tonight so I'm guessing it's going to be a long night.
