Monday Roll Call
Good Morning Nancy and the rest of IL!
It's Monday again! Even though I don't work outside the home, Monday's are still crazy days for me. Getting the kids off, Tyler has to be at school early, so I have to drive him, fighting with the other two to get up and out!
All I have to do today is go to the post office and finish laundry. I will go and get my nails done too though, for ME! I have decided that I need to do more things for ME...I never have. I also will be doing more homework.
Be careful to anyone driving later!! It's supposed to get bad again. Blizzard warning overnight! yikes

Good morning Nancy and all my IL Friends,
Another COLD day!! arghhhh
Today I am taking my daughter back to college, on the way she has a stop for an internship interview. It sounds very promising and would be quick train ride from her school.
The pressure is really on for her to find an internship, this is her last semester and she needs it to graduate. Seems the economy has affected even internship opportunities. This one is an Interfaith housing program that helps people displaced. She has always enjoyed helping people and would work very hard for the group. Hopefully she will land the internship.
We have several loads to take back to her dorm, clothes , and just the misc usual-- I am not looking forward to the back and forth walk from the car to dorm. Oh well - has to be done.

Ditto to all the caring thoughts this morning.
The weekend went too fast for me. Missed church. I am up way too early. Leg pain yesterday wore me out I guess. I went to bed at nine last night so I am up early today. Leg is sore to touch this morning but moving along as slow as the rest of my body which would love to be in a whirlpool this morning. I guess I can watch the church message online this morning. Yes I have some cheese to go with this whine this morning but do not need the extra calories lol.

Hi All,
Typical Monday for me. I sent Carl off teaching today.
It looks very gloomy here in Florida. Probably wont get past 70 today.
Waiting to hear from the Doctor about labs that were drawn on thursday. She called friday but I wasnt home. I was watching my little cousin.
So hopefully she will call today.
they are waiting for my numbers to deplete so they can give me the radiation Pill and let me cook in the hospital for a few days.
I feel for all you guys going thru a blizzard.

It's gonna be one of those weeks. I'm really tired of the snow and cold weather. Where oh where are my spring flowers???
I'm supposed to work both jobs today but if the weather gets bad this afternnoon, I may get a call from Outback telling me they are cutting my shift. Which is just fine with me.
Lisa - You may just get me motivated to start working on my closets. I too need to organize.
Cathy - Be safe traveling today.
Carol - Hope your Mom and MIL are improving each day.
Monica - Good for you! We do have to take care of ourselves. Enjoy pampering yourself today.
Nancy - Oh how I wish I could have stayed inside under the blankets. I really hate this weather!
Paul - Mean people stink! I'm sorry things are so stressful at work. They are at my job too. I swear if I could financially swing it I would walk. For now I just have to be glad I have a job.
Lucy - Don't work too hard. Sound like you're going to be busy this week.
Connie - Glad you enjoyed your visit w/ your friends.
Randy - Sorry to hear about your struggle w/ the pain in your legs. Hang in there.
Crystal - I'm glad you got to spend so much time w/ your daughter. I know you'll be sad to see her go back to school.

I have not heard anything else from Janet and I am hoping that she is home, recovering, or will be today. If I don't hear anything by this afternoon, I will try to call her.
Liv and I continued to stay in yesterday, and the boys were happy to see that the snow was cleared. I did the front porch and the front sidewalks as exercise yesterday morning.
I am back at work today and glad that I will get to leave at 2:30 since I will then get home before dark and the blizzard warning goes into effect. There is always a bright side!
I am sending my thoughts, wishes and prayers out to all of my Illinois friends today. It seems that we each have our own "cross to bear" today. I am wishing for a positive resolution for us all.

Hello Illinois,
Well I feel a little better today. I slept from 11 pm till 3 am and then back to bed til 5:30. But I think I need another antibiotic,have a temp again this am. I have to call the doc this am.
Just talked to the nurse. doc isn't in yet but when he gets there she'll talk to him and see if he thinks I need an antiobiotic again.
Have to run a couple errands today before the snow hits, since Earl has surgery tomorrow.

Did my exercises this morning. I will be stiff tonight. We had only 5 ppl today in our group. Wednesday we will have everyone there. It was fun.
Got home to see a sheriff in my driveway, thats enough to give me a heart attack, with my DH job i was shaking, he was looking for me to tell me my DH family which I have never met, was trying to get a hold of us. So I called them and his mom passed away on Jan 1st. The same day my step brother passed away. Don't take me wrong I have onlt met this lady 2 times she abandond my hubby when he was a little boy and his dad raised him ant the other 4 by himself until he remarried in 1975. So I feel for my DH, because he still loved her but he did not know her. He has not even heard from her for 25 yrs!
Well they say its going to get cold so find some ways to stay warm and safe!
