Monday Roll Call
Time to get up and get ready for another week. Even though it looks like it is going to be a dandy of a week. Any way we can stay inside and under the covers?
I had a great weekend of putzing around the house but managed to get my to do list done. Always a good feeling to be able to start the work week with nothing hanging over the head.
I hope Janet is doing better today. Carla, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Carol, hope your moms are coming along in their recoveries. Ilse, hope your husband gets some positive ideas on his job ideas today.
I hope everyone has a great day and stay warm!

Yes, it's going to be a challenging week with the weather.
I am so sick of this!!!
I have a full week of meetings starting this morning at 7:30.
I hope and pray that everyone is doing well with all the stones thrown our way - financials, illness, job loss, family issues, etc...
It's cold out there already. Stay warm and safe driving!
Hugs,
Lucy

Yep, its back to work for me too this morning. I still don't have my computer fixed. I won't get the new cord setup until Wed when I see my supervisor.
Yesterday I got most of one closet done. It is awsome how much you can pitch when the mindset tells you if you haven't used it in a year, pitch it. I now have one closet that is almost empty. # 2 is next. My goal is to have one compleatly empty closet, and lots of junk out for pickup.
DH went to work today, after being sick yesterday. Hopefully, he can stay at work all day after this last week being off for vacation.
It looks to be another nasty week for Illinois. We are under a blizzard warning as of 3 this afternoon. Our area will get hit about 1 hour earlier.
Heres hoping everyone has a great Monday. Stay safe and warm. And remember, spring will come.
Huggers,
LISA
Good morning my chilly friends!
What can I say with the weather we are facing? Oh well--as Paul said about the economy--this too shall pass!
We had a lovely dinner with friends last night! They have a 20 month old who is just SO CUTE! He even learned my name! They had a typical turkey dinner and it went down fine. It seems when I eat out I rarely get stuck, but at home I do. I guess I am eating slower when I'm visiting with friends. A lesson for Kay and I both to focus on, even though we do actually sit down to dinner at the table--we must still eat too fast. I guess when the lessons stop, so does life. So, bring on the lessons (one at a time)!
Have a great day and stay warm!
