Snowy Saturday Roll Call
If I was by your house I would help you shovel your driveway.
I did mine and my neighbor's this morning to include the stuff the snow plower threw on our driveways.
It's a day to stay inside. Me, too - laundry, computer and watch TV.
Take care.

Good Morning Illinois,
This will be a short post. I'll try and get back on later. In the middle of a coughing fit right now.
Went to the doctor yesterday, had a chest x-ray. he doesn't think I have pneumonia, just lots of inflammation and some congestion in my lungs. So yesterday I started 2 new meds. One an inhaled steroid and the other Prednisone. I do feel some relief this am already.
My daughter is having a get together this afternoon at her house. Not sure if I am going or not. I'll see how I am feeling later. There will be some friends of hers and mine there that I haven't seen for awhile so I really would like to go. Just depends on how much I am coughing. I've been through the antibiotics so Dr. didn't think I am contagious or anything just run down and residual effects from the virus and infection in the lungs.
Hugs, Paulette

Thanks for your concern. I did go to my daughters, Earl dropped me off and picked me up so the car would be warm. I had a good time but sure am tired tonight, now if the coughing would let up maybe I could get some decent sleep.

Thanks for the get well wishes. As I've gotten older I have more trouble with my Asthma in the winter months. As soon as I get a cold it goes right to my lungs. Just need it to work its course, This virus has been a nasty one for me. I got sick the beginning of December and every time I think I'm over it, it comes back with a vengeance. Hopefully after my second dose of prednisone tomorrow I'll get some relief. I've had 4 doses of the Pulmacort which should be kicking in too.
I did go to my daughters and had a nice time. One of her coworkers was there who had RNY surgery in 2004. Jen told her I was considering wls, she asked Why? She said I was only plump didn't think I was overweight enough for wls. LOL! Really made my day though. I told her I hadn't been called plump since High School.
I've read that both your mom and MIL are having health problems. Prayers and wishes for speedy recovery for both of them.
We'll have to meet somewhere when I finally get over this crud.
Take care & hugs to you, Paulette
I got to sleep in this morning. Yipee. I got up at 7:30 and fed the cats, went back to bed and read for awhile and fell back to sleep until 11:00 am. It really felt good! Just finished brunch. I think snow is finally tapering off. I need to go to the grocery store but may put it off until tomorrow. We will see. Depends on how badly I want to crawl out of my robe and pj's.

I am sorry that Janet is having so much pain and trouble with her plastic surgery. That stuff scares me. I think you have to have nerves of steel to get it done! I admire her for having it done. I hope she feels better soon. My thoughts and prayers are with Carla and Janet as they heal.
I am thinking of Ilse and Dawn and others as they struggle with their job issues as well. I have been there and done that twice and it is really scary and hard.
Hope everyone has a good afternoon.
