Friday Morning Roll Call
What we teach teen is Refuse and Report. Meaning that she needs too, if she is mentally able, refuse the bullying with polite but aggressive tones, "You need to stop" "What you are doing is against the law" (which it is) stuff like that. Then she needs to report it to a trusted teacher/advisor/etc. What those kids are doing can/could get them suspended, expelled, and arrested. Most schools have bullying policies and are very strict about them because of the lawsuits that can ensue. By law, once a school is aware of the bullying they have to do something about it or face criminal and civil lawsuits.
Best advice, she (or her parents) need to tell the school that something is going on. If they don't do anything then they need to go public...with everything about bullying in the news something will get done.
My heart goes out to this young lady and she will be in my prayers too.
