Good morning everyone!  It is not really a good morning here.  We have ICE again.  There is several roads closed here and in St. Louis.  Accidents all over the place.

I found some clothes yesterday for the funerals, and let's just say I was shocked when I saw what sizes.  I don't think I wore that small when I was born...lol

Hope everyone has a safe and great day!

Good morning Dee,
I just wanted to pop in and see how you were doing.  I know this has been a difficult few days for you.  Stay safe and stay off the roads.  Today I have alot of running to do before my DG comes over.  I have been doing well with BOTT.  I am feeling in control, it's the first time in a long time.  Need to get my body moving.
Have a great day,
Deb

Morning Deb.  Thanks for the thoughts.  My old body doesn't want to move this morning at all, good thing I don't work, huh?...lol

Hello everyone

I'm back at work this morning and I am sad to say the fans are STILL going.  I am so sick of these loud, drafty fans.  The floors are dry so I don't know why they are still going.  I can tell this will be a long week. The phones are still down too.  I was hoping after a long weekend somethings might have changed.

Everyone stay warm and have a nice day.

Crystal,

Stay warm at work, I would probably be sick by now...lol  Makes ya wonder if they are worried about mold or something though.

Take Care!

 Good Morning Dee and Illinois

Dee, glad you found some new clothes, and great news in the sizing department!  Watch those icy roads.  Not fun to drive on at all.

Crystal, I am sorry your work place is still in shambles.  That does not sound good at all.  I cant imagine working with all that mess.  They would be better to just close until they got all the things back up and running.

We were extremely busy at work yesterday!  We made up for all the slow days just before Christmas and around New Years.  People are back to stocking up the office for the new year.  The only problem yesterday was people were crabby.  I dont think anyone wanted to be back at work.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Nancy,

How is Fluffer doing now?

I hate it when people are crabby.  I use to work retail, and if before Christmas wasn't bad, it was after...lol

I don't really have to drive today.  If I go check on my one friends family, I can walk.  They only live a block away.  The other friends family are still making arrangements, and are talking about having nothing, no visitation, no funeral.  She had cancer for several years though, and I think that is what she wanted.

Hope you have a better day today.

 Hi Dee

Fluffer is starting to settle back to normal.  I dont have to hold him all the time.  I think he realizes his nightmare is over.  I dont think he will be going outside any time soon.

We are coming up on a full moon on Saturday so that always makes customers crabby.  Also I think people lost their brains over the holidays.  There seems to be an extra large case of the DUH's going around.

Glad you did not have to go far today.  We got a surprise snow storm and it was really slippery.

My stomach is still on the cautious side but seems to be getting better.  It still doesn't like a lot of food so eating is a challenge.  It too will pass.

I'm sorry your one set of friends are thinking of not having any services.  They really do help with closure.  You dont realize just how much until you dont go to a funeral or a memorial service for a loved one.  But to each their own,.
