Monday Roll Call

Good morning,
I am not doing much today.  I should say that I am not going anywhere today.  I have the kids, so I will be busy with them.  My goals for today is to clean out my purse and balance my checkbook and to work on PTO stuff for awhile.  I am trying to get spanish classes started at Maddie's school.  It's just a matter of getting it in place and cost.  I have already found the teachers etc.  That was one of my goals being PTO president.  I hope everyone has a great day and keep warm.

Hello everyone

I'm sitting here all cozy in my house.  I took the day off today.  My daughter left for work a few minutes ago.  I told her to take my car so she doesn't have to walk. 

I wish I could work from home.  Then I would never have to go out in the cold or commute.

Good morning Lisa and the rest of IL, Lisa if you gained I know you will get it back off, you can do it,
for me today off the the Dr for a check of my feet and back home it is way too cold to be out , the sun is out but still cold,
Jim is home for another week does not go back to wor****il next Monday, I will be nuts by then,
Tomorrow I have my Dr. appt with the PS. and Friday is my Surgery day,
Dawn will keep you posted after surgery to let you all know how I am doing.

Not a lot going on today, got the two middle kids back to school. My oldest doesn't go bac****il tomorrow so I think we might go and get his haircut. I really am not looking forward to going out in the cold, but I am cold ALL THE TIME so outside or inside, I'm always chilled. I have never really minded the cold weather but I am having a very tough time this winter. I wonder if I will ever be warm again..lol
Oh well, time for some breakfast and then see what the day brings. Have a pleasant day everyone!

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

I am back at work and FREEZING!!!  I just can't really seem to get warm today.  I hope I am not catching the cold that has kept one of my co-worker's home today.  We are a very small bunch (7) and when one of us gets something, it seems that we ALL have to share.

Our weekend was OK.  Todd and David went to the "bull nut feed" on Saturday while Liv and I went into Freeport to Wal-Mart for a few things.  I got the second computer up and running for the kids in the living room.  They are happy and I can keep an eye on what they are doing.

Yesterday, Liv and I came into Cherry Vale to get new glasses..........yes, BOTH of us!  I have finally had to break down and get glasses, and I need bifocals!  I am going to try the glasses first, and if I can't get used to them, I may think about trying contacts.  I definately need help reading though.  I am getting older, I guess.  It had to catch up with me at some point.

I am thinking about Stephanie who has her surgery today; Dee, who has a rough week ahead of her and Carol and her mom.  I am also (as always) keeping you all in my thoughts for nothing but good (or better) things for everyone.

Paul, it is good to "see" you again.  Hang in there, there are lots of new things in store for you this year.

I started back up with the stationary bike yesterday morning after giving my body a long rest.  I am hoping that this will shake something loose so that it will loose again.  We will see.  I can feel the muscles in my legs and shoulders, so I know I am working hard.  I actually could use a good massage on my shoulders.

I will be Janet's surgery angel on Friday when she goes in for the next stage of her journey and am honored to do it.  I am wishing her all the good luck and a speedy recovery.

Where did you get your glasses?  Maddie and I need to get our eyes checked and have been shopping around for some deals.  I know it's a matter of time before Maddie needs them, because Ryan and I both have bad eyes.  Let me know when you have a chance.  Did you get a good price?

Good Morning everyone!

I always seem to be so late...but I don't have to be to wor****il 9, so....I ususally get to work by eight but have been soooo tired I can not get out of bed. 

Weekend was good, lots of sleeping and telling my hubby how much I love and appreciate all the slack he is picking up around the house while I am still 'recovering'.  

Took down some of the Chirstmas decorations and did some knitting.  It's good to pick up the needles again.  I haven't really wanted to since the surgery until last week. 

I need to start walking on a regular basis, but I am so tired, I can't seem to get motivated to do much of anything.

Visiting hours don't start til 1 so I won't be on here long. Thanks for your continued prayers for my mom. I talked to her briefly this morning and they are transfering her to ICU. I don't know why but I will find out when I get there. She has been wearing a heart monitor and I'm wondering if it has something to do with that. We shall see.

Went for my 9 month labs this morning. So that is out of the way. My MIL is having knee replacement surgery as we speak so my DH is there with her. With my mom in the hospital I couldn't be with him. At least he is with his sister while they are waiting. It seems like when it rains it pours. 

I will also keep those who are going thru troubling times in my prayers.

Afternoon Everyone -
I'm finally over my cold.. My granddaughter is back home and I'm back to work.  Quite honestly, I'm glad the holidays are over so I can get back into a normal routine.  I'm finally starting to tell a difference in the way I feel since I started taking the thyroid medication.  It was 30days yesterday and I feel sooo much better.  It's amazing how different I feel.

So, not too much going on.  Just working both jobs the next few days.  Nothing exciting.
Madison and I went to see Marley and Me over Christmas Break.  It's a really cute show.  I could have made millions if only they would have used my Missy in the film.  She acts just like Marley LOL.
