Sunday Roll Call
Welcome to another weekend day! It is susposed to be foggy outside. I am up and was planning to go to church this morning but my stomach is deciding otherwise. I just cannot shake this flu. I am ok as long as I eat bland foods but as soon as I try to move on it is uh - oh.
What is everyone up to today? It is susposed to be windy and turn colder outside. The sunrise is reddish so that is not a good sign.
Hope everyone had a good day yesterday. Sounds like there were lots of interesting plans -- shopping, pedicures, debugging computers, family visits, wrestling matches, etc.
Hope everyone has a great day and gets to relax before it is back to the world of work tomorrow!

My plan for today is try to finish a couple of things around the house, cook a nice dinner, and work on a rug. I may not even get dressed.
I try to vegg one day a week, but it doesn't alway happen.
tomorrow I will be going to see Dr Guskie at the new Kane Center office in Hoffman Estates. Then I am meeting up with a cousin for lunch. That is always fun.
Have a great day, stay safe and warm.
Hugs

I'm awake but tired. We spent the night in the ER waiting to find out what is wrong with my mother. She was coughing up blood. Turns out she has pneumonia, congestive heart failure and her legs are swollen. I was with her on Wednesday and she wasn't coughing, but her legs were swollen. They were worse on Wednesday than last night/ this morning. They are giving her lasix to flush the body of fluid and an antibiotic. So this afternoon we will be visiting her at the hospital.
As always, have a great day and keep safe.
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Good morning!
Well the pedicures were luxurious at Asha (at Cherryvale Mall). They put these hot neck pillows around our necks--whoo, wonderful and at one point wrap your feet in hot towels too. It was fun to do it together.
The rest of the day I spent knitting followed by a quick pick up of the house, since a friend is coming today to weave a basket.
We had a half of a Papa Murphys low calorie pizza last night. It was yummy and the crust is so thin it was easy to eat.
Have a good day!

It sounds like, so far, life isn't going too well for everyone. Sending hugs!
I am still spending quiet, uneventful days at home.
My DD and grandkids came in from Janesville to visit on Friday. It was wonderful to see them again. A teacher from the school I work at, who had RNY about 3 years ago called to check how I was holding up too. That was nice of him.
Saturday, my DH took down the Christmas decorations, both inside and outside. I was going to try to help, but he told me to get out of there. He did miss two things, but it is no big deal.
I haven't been doing that much walking, as my heart starts pounding almost immediately. My body wants me to start swimming again, but I am sure I will not be allowed to for a long time yet.
Take care everyone. Get well, be safe and happy.
Today, other than taking care of the dog that we're dog sitting for, I don't have any real plans. I do have to do laundry so I can send the kids back to school in clean clothes! I might take Jacob to the Ogden 6 movie theaters to see Twilight again...LOL We both just loved that movie and since they are only $3 there, it's not bad. It would be our 3rd time! what can I say? we like vampires

It's so gloomy outside and I think I have a cold coming on, so I might just hang out at home too. we shall see. Tomorrow I have to go to the gynecologist for my annual exam...oh fun! lol
Everyone have a wonderful, warm and safe day. Please keep our friend Dee in your thoughts and prayers, she's going through a rough time right now. hugs to you my friend
