Can I still have my medication?
Kiddo, you know that is between you and whatever doc u go to. Sometimes a doc will say find a liquid version or another drug for whatever you are on. I had that issue for a colitis drug I was on pre op. Each and every drug will have to be evaluated on a case by case basis and that is usually evaluated at the pre op apt (s). There isn't anything written in stone. NSAID'S depending on the doc are usually frowned on because they might cause problems like an ulcer PO. AGAIN each and every WLS and PC doc work through those issues.

Not sure about this one--need to talk to your docs about each drug.
I DO know that for RNYs and DSes (and any other malabsorptive surgeries) you should NOT be on any extended-release medications, as you may not get the proper dosage. You need to be on the regular versions. Just something else to ask about.
FYI, with the DS, you can take NSAIDs, should you need them.
