Love the idea Dee and it is great for me.  Look forward to you taking it on at your speed.  Luckily this isnot a competion and though we often measure sucess with numbers that pressure is an individual thing and I have been privately recommiting myself to weight loss for the next three months and to being prepared for when I can reapply to Walgreens in March.  I likely will not be able to close and button my suit coat by then.  I can already put it on though and the more weight I lose the less conspicuous my weight will be.  I am having my sage tea  this morning.  I will soon have a SlimFast Cappy.

Well, I have eaten like a junkyard dog today, eating whatever I can get my hands on whenever! I hosted 7 kids and two moms today at a New Year's Eve daytime bash and it was fun. This is not a typical day's menu, but it should be! :)

Breakfast:

6 chocolate turtles (pretzel, Rolo candy, pecan half)
5 beef wellington appetizers wrapped in phyllo dough
cheese and crackers
Diet Coke

Lunch:

4 baby hotdogs with crescent rolls wrapped around them
5 beef wellington appetizers wrapped in phyllo dough
Large chopped salad (lettuce, bacon, chicken, tomato, green onion, blue cheese)
3 chocolate turtles (pretzel, Rolo candy, pecan half)
2 baby carrots and dip
hummus and pita chips
cheese and crackers
Diet Coke

Snack:
some pretzels and Baked Cheetos
cheese
Sparkling grape juice (for countdown toast)

Dinner:
Large chopped salad (lettuce, bacon, chicken, tomato, green onion, blue cheese)
5 beef wellington appetizers wrapped in phyllo dough
4 baby hotdogs with crescent rolls wrapped around them
3 chocolate turtles (pretzel, Rolo candy, pecan half)
4 Oreos
Glass of milk
Diet Coke

Here's to a more structured tomorrow!

No, they were frozen little guys I bought from my "meat wagon" guys. (Yes, we have two guys who sell wholesale, high-quality frozen meat from their Sprinter van in our neighborhood. And it is delicious and cheaper than if I bought it at the store. I can't believe I do this, either!!!)

I DO have a recipe for a Beef Tenderloin en Croute that tastes the same, but it's a roast for dinner instead of appetizers. It gets rave reviews every time I make it. The recipe is in the "Great American Favorite Brand Name Cookbook," so it's nothing I invented. And it's easy!   Let me know if you'd like that and I will post it. I'll bet someone clever can adjust it to be able to make little appetizers.

Oh yes!!!  Please post the recipe.
You know me.....I am always on the lookout for a good recipe.  Maybe I can figure out how to "downsize" it.
