NEW YEARS EVE ROLL CALL
This has been the best year of my life in decades due to my RnY surgery and your support at OH and my group at Swedish Covenant Hospital. I was able to fly back east for Xmas and I didn't have to put the armrest up between the two seats. -Yeah! I made it through the sugar cookies and my brother's wedding cake with just one bite from each. (Not sure about the discipline I was just afraid of getting sick while away from home.) Healthwise the NY doc said I was doing just fine but I need to take more vitamin A for my skin and hair. That's good because I've lost ALOT of hair in the last 4 months so I can be fluffy like our persian, Leo, once again.
Tonight Mark, Jeanine and I are just going to wander over to a neighbor's house and goof around there. They are sympathetic to my eating restrictions so it will probably work out just fine.
I wish you all the very best for 2009! It should be exciting year all around.

I haven't picked what I am doing tonight.
I am either going to run down to Bloomington-Normal and stay out with friends, or I am going to let my son invite a bunch of friends over and order some Redbox video's.
I would love to go down south but it seems my stomach can't handle the driving. I guess its the bouncing. My car doesnt have the ride I would like. I guess the 4X4 makes it ride a little rougher.
I am making my world famous shrrimp dip today. I have about a gallon of chili I made yesterday. so I am ready to have fun tonight, but I just don't know where.
I have an idea, Everyone is invited over to my house!
Come on over, I will never eat all this chili and I don't want to drive down to Bloomington. Have a good day!

We are having a party at our house (I know - a party 19 days after my RNY, I am a little crazy). But it is my friends yearly Christmas Party and I didn't want to go anywhere, so I volenteered. Everyone is bringing food and I am just providing the main dish (Tasty Turkey - very good and very moist as it is in the crock with tons of chicken broth).
I am looking forward to our gift exchange and visiting with friends. I probably will poop out not to long after midnight!

Happy New Year's Eve to everyone! Today Jacob and I are heading out to see if we can find a bigger cage for his 3 new rats. They are growing quickly and will need new digs soon. I also have to buy dog food for my puppers. Other than that, nothing going on here until I have to take Tyler to his first NYE party at a friend's house at 8pm then pick him up again at 12:30am. I hardly ever make it to midnight on NYE, hopefully I will remember to pick him up! lol
2008 has really been a strange year for me. So much has happened this year that I can only hope that 2009 will be much better for me. I am so very thankful that I have all of you in my life though for I don't know what I would have done without you all. Love and peace to each and every one of you! I love you all

I want to wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year!
We have the girls so we are busy, busy... I will be kind of glad when they go back to school on Monday. Maybe I won't be so tired then..but I will miss all the play time with them. today we are doing Nana's beauty shop to get ready for New Years Eve. We are spending it at home with them, Our daughter will be at a party at her best friend's house and is spending the night there. So at least no worrying about her being on the road.
Out with the old in with the New!! Let's hope 2009 is a better year than 2008 for all of us and our country.

Happy New Year's Eve!!! My butt is staying in tonight with the family. Ryan has off for a chanage and we will spend time with just us!!! I am so greatful for all that has happend this year! This time last year I was around 210 pounds and not myself at all! Now I am 157 and on the road to being me again! One thing I am going to do this coming year is try and focus on "ME" more. As a mom, you do and do for your kids and for everyone else, that you loose sight to yourself. I know you know what I'm talking about. Come on...I've needed new socks and undies for 3 months now and haven't bought them, but Maddie sure has enough underwear to wear 1 pair each day for the rest of the school year without me doing wash!
So this coming year, I wish all of you peace and happieness every day! I am going to try and get on at least once a day and keep in touch, because I feel better when I talk to you guys! Connie...maybe you can teach me how to knitt sometime this year also??? I've gotten a little craft bug in me now!!! 90% of my gifts that I gave was home made and everyone loved them! Till 2009...see ya!
