Monday roll call
Hello everyone
I am posting now, instead of at work. Because the computers at work are down. I got a phone call last night, apparently there was a small fire at work and the sprinkler system turned on and some departments got hit hard with flooding. Some people have to move temporarily to another location. I don't know how bad things will be when I get in to work. I'm hoping our department was spared. I do know we will be with out computers for awhile. I talked to my boss and tried to take the day off today but she wants me there to help if there are any issues with our department.
On a better note I went to my friends last night and she made these yummy potatoe tacos. They were soooo good. I ate more last night that I did on Christmas.
I'm so glad Fluffer is safe and warm inside.

Wow do I dislike Mondays!
But today will be short day, only 8 hours, soon I will switch to a 4 day - 10 hr schedule. The team won me over on it finally. It will be nice to have extra day off even it it is not always the same day.
Besides work today, I have to rush over to our City Hall and pay for the vehicle stickers and dog license. I really could have mailed it but that would not be like the procrastinating me.
My son was here for the holiday, we had an awesome visit. He was helpful and appreciative of my cooking. I will miss him, he is now in Ohio with his girlfriend's family.
My daughter is home from college and well I had to discuss with her the fact she is not staying at a hotel where all her needs are serviced and she need not lift a finger. I let it go for first week, but it has gotten old. She wants to be treated like an adult she needs to step up and act like it. I love her dearly but she makes it hard to enjoy her visit when she makes so much work for me.

Sounds like today will be a regular work day for most of us. My plans after work, a trip to Costco and then putting the holiday decorations away since the weather will be warmer.

My day is this...NOTHING....lol I have to call the doc to schedule and MRI on my back. It is no better, and I am not gonna keep taking the pain pills they give ya. I have seen too many WLS people get addicted to pain pills, and I refuse to do it.
I was having some people over new years eve for games and munchies, I don't think that is gonna happen now unless my sister and hubby take over for me, guess I better talk to them.
My plans for after the new year is to get a job, don't care where, just want out of the house for a bit, thought I would never say that...lol

The las of the Christmas get togethers is over! YEAH! We did have a good time and the chili was great! I even have some leftover for lunch and two more dinners. I think I made way too much....
I can get back to my routine now! Laundry and cleaning are on my agenda for today. I must also meet the water inspector today for the other building. Almost done with my coffee and it is time to eat breakfast.

Good morning everyone!
It looks like most everyone will be busy today except me. I have been having more of the same-Drink 1 oz at a time trying to get enough protein in, liquids in, etc. I made up a protein drink that was much higher in protein, so at least finally, I got enough protein in. I had to force myself to drink it 4x's an hour instead of 2x's an hour. Down to 256.8 today.
My DH went to work today. That's kind of a relief, mostly because if he is using the internet, which he has been doing a lot the whole time he was home with me, I can't get it to come up very weill on my computer, so I give up trying.
Noone from my family has come to visit, with the crazy weather on Saturday, and just general stuff to do. My mom's priority this weekend was to put wreaths on a lot of different gravestones. My SIL sliced his pinkie finger in half at the bowling alley on Friday night and has been in a lot of pain as a result.
I seem to be missing the sash from my robe. I know I never used it at the hospital, but have no memory of bringing it to the hospital. I called there to see if it had shown up, but they said they don't have it.
I don't know when I will be able to make an appointment to see Dr R. The office was closed last week, but the message doesn't say when they actually will re-open.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

It is a nice sunny morning for a change! Thank you for all the well wishes and thoughts about Fluffer being home. We have had several long cuddle sessions. I think he is glad to be back inside as well! It is a huge relief to have him safe and sound! The not knowing was the hardest.
Crystal, I am sorry about the fire at work. Yuk, sounds like a mess. Hope the damage is not extensive. Glad it was small, but that does not mean that there was only a small amount of damage.
Dee, I hope you can get into the Dr quickly and get some pain relief.
For me, it is one more day at home. I thought I was feeling better from the stomach flu yesterday and ate some. Kept it back at the basics but my stomach is not too happy today. One thing good about all of this is I broke my stall from he@@ and dropped 5 pounds and also I think I reset my pouch in the prcess as I cannot eat any quantity greater than what I did early post op. Hope that continues! That should get the weight loss moving again.

I am at work. no clients yet 
, so maybe today will be quiet. Hoping anyway. Next week I go down to 3 days a week. My choice. 4 is almost to much for me.Don't know about anyone else, but I was off a day all last week. Even yesterday, I was mistaken on the day. But, we are here on Monday today, so everything should be good.
Its a nice sunny day out. Better then the last few. Enjoy it and stay safe and warm.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
I too am back at work today. The good news is that I still have a short week. All day today, half a day tomorrow and off on Wednesday and Thursday. Back on Friday.
Tomorrow, Todd and I are both leaving early to take the kids into a hotel in the 'burbs, then to the Jeff Dunham concert tomorrow night. We will let them swim in the morning on Wednesday, then home to get the house ready for our annual New Year's Eve party. Todd is hoping for a costume party this year. Sounds interesting.
Our last Christmas celebration was Saturday evening and it was very nice. The kids had a blast and that is what it is all about.
I also found out on Saturday that my aunt (who you all hear me talk about so much) has betrayed our trust and sold the car that was to have been David's to someone else. It is a very long story, but suffice it to say that my heart is broken in many ways. The hurt will subside eventually, but I will NEVER trust her again. It is always sad to lose someone that you thought was a friend. Oh well.....live and learn.
