Sunday Roll Call
Good morning all!
Its nice to see the sun today! I don't have too much planned, just some running around to do before the work week. I went and got my hair done finally! I am now a red head with no greys showing! It looks so much healthier with new color and a trim. I can't believe this nice long weekend is almost over! At least its a short work week, I work Mon, Tues and half day on Wednesday. No plans for New Years Eve for us either. I look forward to a nice relaxing night at home with the kids.

Well its afternoon, but I just wanted to check in. I like most of you have no plans for NY's eve or for the NY day! I have not left this house since Christmas day. I do have an appointment Tuesday for an oil change. I have a couple of returns to make that day to. I decided to do nothing during my time off from the bus, except collect my unemployment for the 2 weeks off! LOL
I am also having some bad lower back pain, its so bad it hurts in my hips, down my legs and I am having trouble sleeping. I sleep on my tummy and I can't it hurts and if I sleep on my side the hips start to hurt, on my back my legs start to hurt and then it hurts to roll over. Sorry to complain, I had a bladder infection in Nov, and have been dealing with severe constipation so it could all be related. If no better here in a few days I will go see my PC doc. He just freak's out on me when I remind him about the lapband , he is too cautious. I tell him what to do and he still just looks at me like duh!

Hi Karen. Sorry to hear about your aches and pains.
Yeah, some docs are scared of the band and RNY. But, we need our PCP's just the same. I guess they need to be educated as there will be more and more of you as time goes by.

Good afternoon Lucy and Illinois Friends
I have great news! There was a Fluffer sighting today! When I went outside to feed his mom this morning I heard him crying under my deck. I tried to coax him out but it was a no go. Then about 30 minutes later my neighbors called and said he was on the deck, but by the time I got outside, he was gone.
The trick now it to get him back inside. There was progress as he did talk back to me when I talked to him under the deck. I hope he is ok.
I made it to my sisters house on Wednesday. Roads were not too bad after the first hour. I enjoyed seeing everyone but we all got the stomach flu over various time periods. The kids had had it but no one else had come down with it. I thought since I had it last week I was safe --er no. So we spent 3 days in our pj's fighting for the available bathrooms and just looking at each other. Merry? Christmas. We did manage to get our presents opend and I got some really nice gifts, mainly clothes from my nieces store.
Yesterday, I got to drive home in that lovely weather. Sure was glad when I saw my house. Between my stomach and the weather, it was a long trip.
I feel better today. I did manage to eat for the first time in 3 days so that is a positive sign.
It's back to work for me tomorrow. Today, I need to go grocery shopping. Hope everyone has a great day!
