Dave, I have a card that was given to me by my Doctor, that tells places that I am a lapband  person and that I can only eat so much. Most buffets will honor it. Even if you just tell them sometimes it works. Regular places sometimes if you ask, will let you eat off the kids menu. The only problem there is it is usually fried foods. Or, buy a regular meal, then ask for a doggie bag. I have no problem paying full price if I know I will have a 2nd or 3rd meal out of it.

Dave my Dr. gave me a card that she sign saying that I had the surgery and can only eat Sm amount of food, Now all places take it Like Old country Buffet they don't care, so we just don't go there anymore. So ask you Dr. about it next time you see them,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Dear Dave:

When you go to the doctor for your first check up, ask him if he has a "medical request" card.  It explains that you have had surgery and requests that you be allowed to pay child's or senior price.  Golden Corral is great about honoring the card.  Chinese places.....not so much.  IHOP will let you order off of the kid's menu with the card.  It IS a big help, although not everyone will honor the request.

Tell someone that you love them!

Good afternoon Janet. I think Fluffer is still MIA.

Sounds like you had a full day yesterday. Have fun at your SIL's birthday lunch.

Take care.

Fluffer is alive!  I went out to feed her mom this morning and I heard him crying under the porch.  A little while later my neighbors called and said he was outside.  By the time I got out there, he was gone, but I know he is still alive and around.  Now the trick is to get him to come when I call and into the house!

Good morning Lucy and Illinois!

I was very surprised this morning to see that after all the rain we had last night that the parking lot was not an ice skating rink. For the most part it is dry with just a river of ice down the center. The winds most have dried everything up. Thank goodness!

Today is Christmas with my husbands family. We are hosting it. The crockpots are cooking the chili and it is smelling pretty good.

I can't wait til tomorrow when I can get back to my regular routine.
I haven't gone out shopping for bargains.....oh, well, still losing....why spend the money when they may not fit next week. Not really looking for anything special anyway.

Hope you all have a great day!

Last night I had a dream that Joel Osteen was preaching sermons against chili with onions. LOL

I could understand if it was Robertson.

Enjoy the chili.  How many alarms?

Randy

So you have been forgiven?

Hi Carol. Your chili sounds wonderful... I just love chili.

You're so right about the parking lots. It's not that icy.

Have a good time enjoying Christmas with your DH's family.

Hugs,
Lucy
