Glad you are home. DW got up a few minutes ago. I am glad she is off or she likely would have been out in it. I do not think there was any news of the freezing rain coming in before folks went to bed last night. It seems odd to me since the temp here just got up to 32
. I got an email that a prescription is ready and for some reason DW does not want to go out and get it for me. LOL. She is my Go-Go girl because she always wants to go.

Good Morning.
Crystal, I don't think you're crazy. Mine will be down within a few days too. But I am like Lucy, all of our stuff goes into the basement,but I don't have an inside entrance to the basement, so I will have to wait until the ice melts to put stuff away.
It was so nice and bright yesterday, today is so dark and dready.
Today I will be cleaning up the kitchen and putting all the "good" stuff away for another year. I will also get the guess bedroom back in shape.
The cookies will be tossed, and most of the leftovers from Xmas eve. That way, I am not temped to eat them.
I know I have regained a couple of pounds. Not thje holiday gift I wanted!

I've got an appointment with Dr. Guske on January 23rd so I want to go and have a loss. I know that I am the only one who can achieve that.
Soon I will venture out to work.

. Hi Lisa. I got to work safely. It took me a half an hour. Not too bad. Of course, there are those people who must race to wherever they are going.
Now I am having an AchievOne Protein drink for breakfast. It's very quiet in the hospital today. Haven't seen one doc yet!

I'm hoping that everyone who has to go out in the ice this morning keeps safe....it will be nasty out for awhile. This has already been the longest most unpredictable winter....I'm ready for spring!
I need to get back to my personal schedule. Scheduled times to eat and drink....no grazing....nothing but protein......

Hi Carol. I just got into work, safe and sound.
It's quiet here and that's nice. I'm drinking my AchievOne Protein drink and enjoying some personal time here.

I do soooo much better when I know when I'm eating and what I'm eating in advance. Even though I made dinner and knew what we were having I was still thrown for a loop yesterday. I know that I didn't over eat too much yesterday, but I know I didn't eat as healthy as I normally do. It is soo hard to resist temptation and not grab those m&m's as you pass the candy dish.
Oh well, it was just one day not everyday.
Today is a new day and a new start.....

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I had a very nice quite Christmas at home. We did go to my BIL's house for a short time. I am glad I am off work today after hearing how bad it is out there. I just woke up and hadn't noticed it was so bad out. I noticed my mother's car is still in the drive though so I guess she decided not to attempt drivng to work today. We are going to have dinner at my aun'ts house today. I am also hoping to get to a couple stores for some after xmas sales.
