Merry Christmas! 

I hope everyone has a blessed holiday.  Ilse, I hope you get to come home from the hospital and Carla, I hope you feel better each day. 

Fluffer has not found his way home yet but thank you for all the well wishes.  I am hoping he has found his way to a warm spot or overcome his shyness and was welcomed into someone's home.  I have not lost total hope but it is low on the scale. 

I am leaving today for my sister's house in Indiana.  I will be there until Saturday.  She called last night and the kids have a tummy virus.  I hope it is the same one I had last week.  Dont really want it but want to see everyone so badly that I am going to risk it. 

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season.  May your hopes and dreams come true and may you enjoy your family time together these next few days.

From the looks of the weather we might have a quieter holiday than even the quiet one we planned. Today we will go knitting and then see if the weather allows us to go to Winnebago tonight.

Merry Christmas Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I came into work today and it took over an hour.  The roads aren't terrible, but the snow is really coming down and the plows had not been out yet.

I have to work a half a day and then, rumor has it, my husband is taking me to lunch after he drops the kids at the museum.  That will be nice.  Both kids are working Friday too, so Todd and I will get to hang out together then too.  My, my, we will have time to actually talk to each other and catch up!

We go to Todd's family's house tonight and THAT is always..............interesting.  I'm sure you have heard me talk about it before, but his family is a *****allenging to deal with.  Oh well......it is only a few times a year and I really LOVE my husband, so we do it for him.

Tomorrow, it will just be Todd, the (younger) kids and I.  Amber's family will come out for a big dinner on Saturday.  I was thinking that we should go to a movie tomorrow.  It would be a treat for us to do that.

I am sending healing energy to Carla and Ilse, and awaiting Fluffer's safe return.

Everyone, if I don't get back here, have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and GOD BLESS US, EVERYONE!!!!!

Good Morning All -
I'm at work.. hoping to be a ble to leave a bit early before I have to work tonight at Outback.  Calvin and I will be spending Christmas at home tomorrow.  He should be picking up a couple filets and shrimp and some other fixing for dinner tomorrow.  It's going to be a nice quiet day for us.  That does not happen very often.  I'm still a bit under the weather but hanging in there.  Calvin wants to hit a movie tomorrow.  We'll see if I'm up for it.

Good Afternoon all!

I just got around to checking in here.  I got up and started with the final cleaning and getting things ready for our festivities today.  however I am very depressed also...my parents are snowed in and can't make it.  This is only the 2nd time in 38 years I haven't spent Christmas Eve with my parents.  We have gotten about 8" of snow here in the last day or so and it sucks.  I am hoping everyone else still comes. 

Tomorrow my mother in law and Mike's brother and his family are coming to spend the day.  We always have a nice time, it's very low key and relaxing.  I will meet my ex 1/2 way tomorrow and he'll get the boys for the day. 

I want to take this time to wish all of my amazing OH family a wonderful holiday, what ever you celebrate!!  I love each and every one of you dearly and with out you all I have no idea where I would be right now.
