Hugs to you all Dee. It doesn't matter if they are not human, they are still a huge part of your family. My heart is breaking for you as well. Sweetie, I know what it's like to lose animals at a young age, first one was only 11 1/2 months old and Shane was only 6....I am praying very hard to both of them that they send healing powers to Tinker so she gets better!!! Hang in there sweetie and if you want to talk, you know where I am!

Good Morning Crystal and Illinois Friends
It is another cold and yucky morning out there! I am inside and trying to stay warm. I caught a stomach bug somewhere. I tried to go to work yesterday and lasted 2 hours and came back home. Did not even try today. Woke up this morning and my stomach still hurts so I called in sick. The only problem is I have no vacation or sick leave left.
I did get my scrapbook done for Christmas. As long as I have free access to the bathroom I am fine. This is a weird bug. The stomach just hurts not really anything else but cramping. Hope it goes away soon.
Crystal, I hate to tell you this but we are in for about 1/2 to 3/4 inch of freezing rain tomorrow night and Friday morning from I-88 south. If your attempt to go to Champaign, please be VERY careful.
Dee, I am sorry your doggie is sick. I know how much our furbabies mean to us. They are like our kids.
Dawn and Monica I hope your kids feel better soon. I hope Liv did not injure herself seriously.

Good Evening. I could't get on this morning, since I was running late, and when I did get to work, I couldn't get a break. But that is ok. I am here now.
I did discuss with my boss yesterday the chance of going down to 3 days a week starting in Jan. Then full time in the fall again. She agreed, so starting Jan 1, I will only be working Mon to Wed. This old body will appreceiate the extra time at home.
Yesterday I was at Walmart at 7:15. and at work by 8. Then a drive to Rock Falls at 10, then getting into the snow. We got back to our office at 4, just intime to pack up and go home. It only took a few minutes extra to get home yesterday, and today the roads were fine. Tomorrow i will be in town, so it shouldn't be any problems.
I hope everyone is staying warm and safe.

Hi Lisa and all,
Happy Chanukkah Lisa. Tomorrow I am going to be making a ton of Latkas for Chanukkah. Our temple are having the Chanukkah party during Shabbat on Friday. I wont be able to go as we are going to Orlando for the weekend to meet up with our friends.
So Lily and I are making the latkes so they can take them to the temple on Friday.
I have a busy week next week, My thyroid surgery in on Tuesday so I will be down for the count for a few days. If I am feeling better by the weekend we are going to Ft Lauderdale to be with our friends for Xmas and chanukkah.
Ill have Paulette post on Tuesday when all is over and done with.
My daughter faired very well for her birthday. She turned 27 on the 12th. She got a cephalon stock pot, Verizon gift certificates, Breaks on her car from us, and a sushi dinner to boot.
My birthday is on the 20th and I dont think Ill get anything. I did ask for Mama Mia the movie.
Well I colored my hair today and I feel 20 years younger, now if I could just get rid of the wrinkles life would be good.
Just got home from seeing The secret life of Bees. Very good movie but take kleenex.
