Good Morning Ilse and Illinois Friends
Well I finally found my way here this morning! I think I needed a map. The new layout is a little confusing for this old brain this early in the morning. Especially when it is cold as well.
Ilse, I vaguely remember someone saying that protein powder does not mix with sugar free jello but you can buy high protein sugar free jello from some of the web sites that advertise here.
My scrapbook should be done tonight. I ended up staying home from work yesterday after losing my breakfast. A first for me. Not sure why. Every time I eat my stomach does not like me. Just started yesterday. My pouch is rebelling!
Glad I was not out in that icy cold yesterday. My outdoor cat did not come around either. I figure she found a spot to curl up in and did not want to move. I cant blame her.

Good Morning everyone!
It's cold cold cold out there...well at least it looks like it is...lol I haven't been outside yet today. We are supposed to get 3"-5" of snow between tonight and tomorrow and that stinks big time, but oh well, it is what it is.
Tyler is staying home from school one more day, he's got a severe case of bronchitis. I had to take him for chest xrays yesterday at Delnor Hosptial per his Dr because she was not hearing air flow in his right lower lobe of his lung and she was worried he had pnuemonia, but it's not thank goodness. He is on 2 different inhalers and an antibiotic. Hopefully he'll be feeling better soon.
I don't really have any plans today other than figuring out what I still need to buy/do for Christmas next week. Can't we put it off for another couple of weeks...it's just not a good time for me right now, physically, mentally and emotionally.
Oh well, everyone have a wonderful, warm and most of all safe day!

My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Isle, I had my husband bring my laptop to the hospital when he came to visit. I didn't want to leave it at the hospital because I was sleeping so much. I didn't want it unattended. I pretty much used my iphone to check email and stuff. I didn't do too much of it like I thought I would.
Not much planned for me today. I may take a ride to Costco and Target. I need to get out and move a bit, but the weather is not making that easy! I guess I will have to settle for walking around the stores for now.

Isle, I had my husband bring my laptop to the hospital when he came to visit. I didn't want to leave it at the hospital because I was sleeping so much. I didn't want it unattended. I pretty much used my iphone to check email and stuff. I didn't do too much of it like I thought I would.

Ilse: I would be a tiny bit leery of taking the laptop, but that is just me. I took my digital camera, and due to the strange storage configuration of my room, it wound up in the toilet and was ruined! Luckily, the memory card was OK, but I had the expense of a new camera to deal with.
I also think that the "Syntrax Nectar" brand of protein will mix fine in jello. The Nectars are more like fruit juice than milk and I have read that they work fine, but never tried it myself.
I am at work, almost counting the minutes until I can leave. We had a rough time with David last night and I did not get much (good) sleep. I am also concerned about the snow, and I have tons to do for next week. It STILL does not feel like Christmas to me, more like additional chores to be done. ACK!!!!!
Support group last night was great! I think Connie's words from last month rang true, "small but mighty". We discussed a lot of issues and shared a lot with each other. I LOVE the Rockford group and my friends there!
I need a haircut, and have to go to Wal-Mart yet again. I'd like to get these things done today, but we will see.
We finally have an appointment with the pastor and youth coordinator from that church that Liv went to the lock-in on the first of November so that they can answer our questions about what exactly went on and WHAT they were thinking. The appointment is Saturday morning and should be interesting to say the least. I am looking forward to having closure on that incident.

Good morning to all. Did Rockford Grou meet last night? If so, I am sorry I missed it. Mom's been in the hospital since wednesday and I have been there every waking moment. I got a 2.5cc fill last friday in my 10cc band. I can't tell. He had to stick me 7 times to getit done. Not my regular Doctor either. My stomach is still sore. My day is work, hospital visit to mom and work again. Have a safe drive home in the snow!

Tonights the last workout for the week and tomorrow is the support group Christmas party. I can't wait....then I'm off and running, well

Hello Everyone -
It's been quite busy for me lately. Just working both jobs and trying to get thru the holidays. I'm still not able to feel any changes with me since I started the meds for my thyroid. I did have a migrain everyday for five days. It seems to of worked itself out. I was going to make a call yesterday if things did not get any better but Sunday thru today I've had no problems with the med. I'm off work the 25th - Jan 4th.. I'm going to Indy to pick-up my grandaughter Madsison on Saturday Dec 27th - Jan 3rd.. I'm looking forward to having that little one.
I'm not sure about this new program OH is using.. or whatever you call it.. I guess time will tell.

Today I have a mini board meeting with the new board at 7 pm. So I will be taping the Biggest Loser tonight. Aw, we're going to have a snowfall. Out comes the shovel for me tomorrow morning.
