Wanting to MUNCH!!!!!

Is anyone else having a rough time with the munching feeling? 

The last couple of days all I want to do is munch, munch, munch.  I usually am not like this, but it seems like nothing satisfys me right now.  I keep chalking it up to holiday stress.  Today was a bad day for eating and I'm so angry at myself, I feel like a blob.  I told my DH and Son that if they didn't finish the crap they brought home from my moms this past saturday (family christmas) by wednesday it will be going into the garbage.  For the most part I do good with temptation, if I want something I will take a nibble and I do mean a nibble not a bite and then I'm fine, but lately the will power has been waning big time and I refuse to go backward on this.  My Dh says I will hide the stuff and I said no you will eat it or leave it in your truck, but I want it out of the house by wednesday.

Anyway thanks for letting me vent alittle, I'm just stressing.

Hi Angie, stress away. Vent as much as you like. We are all human and I know I do the same thing sometimes. You allow forbidden stuff to stay in your house that long?  I tell my DH if you don't eat it within 2 days its gone. Today is a new day and it will get better. The holiday season is bad for everyone but come Jan., you will forget about all the goodies and be back on track.

Good morning Angie, to be to hard on your self I for one have gone through this a few times for me it is not having anything to do, and stress can cause you to want to eat.
today is a new day and don't worry about yesterday because their is noting you can do about it any way.
good luck and we all always here if you need to vent anytime.

      Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. Mmmmm, yeah. I am munching myself silly here. And it shows! I lost only 6 pounds this month, which is a major slowdown for me. I will get on track again once the yummy candy gets out of the house (via my body, first, LOL) and I get back into the swing of exercising again. I have only worked out twice in the last week, so that needs to change, too. I am not stressed any more than usual and am simply enjoying the food part of the season, which is important to me.
 
Were not blobs, we're people. People who like to munch! Besides, there's always tomorrow.

Ladies thank you for the words of encouragement.  Today was better but I was so busy all day, I was out of the house for the better part of the morning and afternoon.  As I was driving home I could feel that I was getting more anxious the closer I got toward home and started thinking about food, something I hadn;t done all day.  I'm thinking maybe there is something more going on with me and thinking maybe a trip to the therapist to figure it out (the anxious feeling was pretty strong...hmmm whats going on).  Well again thank you for your replies!!!

Please everyone be careful out there....the drive from Bourbonnais to Morris took me an hour and a half instead of 45 minutes.  Please Please Be Careful!!!!
