Tuesday rollcall
Good morning to all! It's so good to be home and be able to read and post to the board again. My dad has a dial up... Needless to say, it took an hour just to sign on. I was quite busy yesterday with cleaning and doing many loads of laundry. I finished up with baking 5 doz. cookies. Today I will be running errands before my granddaughter comes over. I hope that everyone has a great day.

Hello everyone
I got to work relatively dry. Boy is it raining out. The ride home will be very interesting everything will freeze by then. Tomorrow will be worse. I hate this weather.
At work we all go in together and play the lottery. So I am wishing we will win the lottery and I will spend the winter in Hawaii. This job will be a bad memory...LOL
I still have to go and pick up my secret santa gift. Maybe this weekend after work.

Crystal, have you found out any more about that $1000 gift card from Wal Mart that you won?? I have to admit, I am SO jealous of you for that...I fill those out all the time and I'm talking I go to Wal Mart probably 3 times a week and I have never won a thing! A $1000 gift card would sure make Christmas easier this year!

Good morning Deb and Illinois Friends!
I am up and at em this morning. I got my knee injections yesterday and boy do my knees feel great! I just love being pain free for however long the shots last. It is great!
Yesterday we had a 'Dress like an elf day" at work. Office Max sponsors a website called ELF Yourself. You can access it at www.elfyourself.com or www.jibjab.com You add pictures and the elves do funny dances and you can send your dancing elves to friends and family. It is free and fun. Well I had on obnoxious lime green sweats, a t shirt that had an elf with a flashing red nose and Bah Humbug on the front, red striped socks and an elf hat. I wore the outfit minus the hat to the doctors, (felt like a fool but finally had to take my coat off because I had to wait and got too hot). I decided I wouldn't see those people again.
I can finally say my Christmas shoppin is done except for a present for a friend and picking up a Starbucks gift card. Yeah! Scrapbook has a dent in it. Now I need to get to my cards.

Wow, it's really coming down out there...the dogs won't even go outside this morning...crazy poochies. They will if it's snowing, but not raining..lol go figure.
Well I just have to say that I am SO happy that I felt good enough to meet Lucy yesterday for lunch because today I feel horrible again. I am now coughing a lot, that started last night. I am thinking that I might end up having to go to the Dr for this. darn it! lol
I have no real plans today, other than cleaning the house some and doing homework. I am making pulled pork for dinner in the crock pot, so I will get that going a little later too.
I hope everyone has a wonderful, dry, safe and warm day!

Good Morning. Well, one thing we can say about the rain this morning is, it is melting the snow that is on the ground now.
I will be leaving for work a bit early today. The sloppy weather is no fun on country highways.
Last night I assembled 200 applications for work. We are so busy anymore, I try not to take time at work to do it. Of course, I don't get payed for doing them at home, but it makes life easier if we don't have to take time to do it during the day. Hopefully, these will last us until the new year.
My goal for tonight is to make peanut butter cookies, in the shape of raindeer heads. You make the cookies longer the round, use pretzels for the antlers, m &ms for the nose and choc chips for the eyes. It doesn't take that long and the kjds love them. 2 dozen will do the trick, and rest of the dough will be regular peanut blossems. I am only making a few types of cookies this yrar, so they are all gone, when the holidays are done
It is going to be a messy day, keep safe on the roads and if you don't have to go out, stay in.

Hi Lisa,
The girls and I made "reindeer cookies" on Saturday at our Cookie Party. They loved making them and they turned out so cute. I am still recuperating from being on my feet for so many hours, lots of swelling still. But we had so much fun. I'm waiting for my daughter to email me the pics so I can post some.

Hello everyone my name is Laura I had RNY on Nov. 11th I have posted i guess twice before. I am getting ready to go to work today I had to cut back to 4 hour days I am so exhausted about 1pm and just have to rest, has anyone else had this extreme fatigue 4 weeks after surgery? I am getting all my vitamins and protein am I doing something wrong or is this all part of the process? Well otherwise I am feeling great and have gotten off all my insulin and am down 30lbs. Thanks for allowing me to join you all.
