Monday Roll Call
Good morning and welcome back Deb!
Good morning to the rest of my friends too!
Well.....the play has closed and it went very well. It was a really good production and they all did a fabulous job. The crowds were smaller than we would have liked, but there was a lot going on in town and it was pretty cold too. I think that the people in charge of advertising kind of dropped the ball. Yesterday, the house was 3/4 full and it was the best of the four shows and I think that was due to "word of mouth".
Liv and I are both a bit tired from all the running. She spent the night with a friend from the play on Saturday night and they stayed up later than they should have, but what do you expect from 12 year old girls?
Todd and David went to Soldier Field yesterday dressing in every layer they could find. They had a great time though and thawed sufficiently on the way home.
Now, it is back to reality for me and I need to get on the stick as far as Christmas goes. I still don't FEEL like Christmas. Hopefully, that will change very soon.

Morning everyone. Busy weekend with a bowlingtournament in Venon Hills with Alex and bakng cookies all dy yesterday. There was not enough finger crossing for me on thursday... I have to go back to the doctor tis friday to get a fill under fluro. He says he can get closer to the "sweet spot" faster by doing it this way. I plan to take the day off from work and do Christmas shopping while I am there. Today I am just working, taing care of mom (who by they way ws give the go ahead for a hip replacement hopefully in January!) and then I will watch my friends 6 year old this afternoon. We are going to play "Webkinz",whatever the heck that is!

Not much going on here....same old, same old....
Time is passing quickly and all of you procrastinators need to get a move on..........The weather puts a damper on getting moving, especially if that means you must get outside....I know I was in all weekend. The laundry gremlins have arrived....again....must make a quick run to Walgreens.

I am feeling almost normal today, so I think the procedure last Monday did the trick but keep your fingers (and toes) crossed for me. I went back to work Sat nite and when I got home Sunday morning, I was sore. I was on a day off last night, but will be going in tonight for overtime (I can't resist...it is double time and I need to build up my time that I used for my injury) and in the morning we will be picking vacation time for 2009. It is done by seniority, and after 10years my overall seniority number is 111....luckily, I only have to worry about the folks on my shift and I am somewhere towards the upper-middle so I might get a good choice.
Not much going on today, I thought about going to the uniform store because I am shrinking out of my newest uniforms. It is expensive though, around $70 for the pants and $50 for the shirts...talk about price gouging!!! YIKES!!!
I agree with heading somewhere tropical.....Key West maybe?

Just a quick hello this morning. Have had sf pudding for breakfast and will likely have some chili an rice for lunch. I got really weak yesterday afternoon and did not want chili as I felt like my stomach would not welcome it. We watched The Librarian and then DW made me some rice which I had two cups of with butter and am close to normal this morning.
