Good morning to all.  I am finally able to get back to normal after my trip to Columbus.  I have so much to do.  A messy house to clean, christmas presents to buy and cookies to bake.  I hope that everyone has a great day.

Hello everyone

Its cold outside.  It took half the ride to work before I finally warmed up. 

I am looking forward to the week of Christmas.  I get five days off!!!  Yeah!!!  But before then I will have to work alot of overtime to make up for the time I'm gone.  I'm going to work again this Saturday.  

I hear its going to snow again.  This is going to be a long winter. 

I hope everyone stays warm and cozy.

Well, it is Monday and back to work!  I get my knee injections this morning and I cant wait!  I will be pain free for awhile.  

I managed to make a dent in my scrapbook over the weekend but found more pictures.  Will pick those up tonight on the way home from work.  It is always a task trying to narrow down pictures because kids are so darn cute!

It is susposed to be a little warmer today before the next snow moves in.  Ugh, I am sick of winter already.  Anyone want to escape south with me?

Today I'll be seeing Monica for lunch. YAY!! Finally our schedules worked out.

This week I mainly have a lot of meetings at work. Luckily, no more parties after work or other meetings.

I got to visit with Willow (Val) yesterday. She looks great! We had lunch, talked and watched a movie.

This morning I have my docs executive committee meeting around 7. Then work as usual and then heading to meet Monica at noon.

Good Morning to all my IL family,

Today I am heading out for my follow up mammo to make sure that lump isn't doing anything it's not supposed to.  I am actually nervous about it.  I then get to meet Lucy for lunch aftewards so it will all be worth it!!  I can't wait to see her again, it's been too long.

So other than that, I am doing nothing really.  I do want to see if I have time to stop at Office Max and buy Mike a new desk chair for Christmas, they have a very nice one on sale for $49.99, it's usually $99, so that's a good deal.  We shall see.  I just don't know where I'd hide it because he's working from home today!  figures...lol

Tonight our breeder is dropping off one of her dogs for us to dog sit for the week. It's actually Phantom's mama, so that will be fun.  She's such a lover and she has a special place in my heart cuz she's also the dog we got Kizer from.  it will be a crazy week here I'm sure.  Tyler also has wrestling meets on Thursday (home), Friday (Naperville North) and then on Saturday a big duel meet up in Hoffman Estates...at Conant High school.  fun fun fun...not for my butt though, those hard bleachers do a number on my tail bone after sitting there for 4 1/2 hours!  Luckily I can get up and move around too.

Okay I must go and take a shower now that Tyler is gone!  lol  I hope everyone has a wonderful, warm and safe day today!

welcome home Deb, I know what you are talking about with getting everything done when you return from being gone, it sure is the pits,

Nancy you can take me with you to a warmer place, I too hate this snow and cold I am cold all the time now I guess that is due to losing that other person that was keeping me warm.

Monica you and Lucy have a good lunch I wish I was going with it has been a long time since I have seen Lucy too, way to long,
So Monica you too have a sitting problem I even have a hard time sitting on my Kitchen chairs I have a pillow on mine I told Jim when I get a TT I am going to ask if they can put some more padding on my bottom,

For me not much going on house cleaning and washing changing the sheets and washing the dogs bedding too, this is my every Monday job,
Yesterday I went to Kmart and got a good deal on Sweats JOE BOXER, Men's, $4.88 each  so I got me two pairs of pants I love wearing them in the winter they are so warm.
Then off the a birthday party, we were not able to stay too long I had my Granddaughter with me and the house we went to everyone was smoking so much I felt like I was in a bar, and my youngest has asthma so I had to get her out of there I did not want her to have a asthma  attack, So that is what is going on here, What is everyone else up to?

It looks blah outside, I know its cold, my furnace hasn't turned off for a while.

Me too. After a ride in the car, watching tv to long, sitting in a chair at all, the tailbone does hurt. Maybe we lose all our padding there first.

Janet, I still need to change our bed and do laundry. Time got away from me yesterday. I decided to bake cookies instead.

I wish I were having lunch with Monica and Lucy--sounds like fun!

Basket weaving yesterday turned out great and then other friends asked us for dinner, so it was a different day for us. I decided I needed red socks for Christmas so while Kay was weaving I knit one red sock with green heel and toe. Hopefully will finish the other this week.

i think I'll be ready to go south will all of you sooner than later. I usually love winter but this is a joke! Too much, too soon. And the forecast sounds like a nightmare for tomorrow. Oh well. Trying to control the weather is a futile job! LOL!

Good Morning!

I hope all of you are well and warm.

I was a tad annoyed yesterday.  I drove out to the area of Montrose and Narraganset for a Christmas Bazaar.  I get there, I find people eating lunch, nothing for sale.  My dad was there (whom I had asked about the Bazaar a few days ago to confirm it was this weekend).  He said no, it's not at this church, it's at one in Wood Dale.  It'll be at this church next weekend.

So. I drove out to Wood Dale.  I was expecting to find two silversmiths from Wisconsin there.  Only one was there.  I did end up buying from her, but I would have liked to compare prices and jewelry between the two of them.  While I was looking at the pieces, trying to choose, the other vendors were packing up to go.

I started my liquid diet today.  I am 4g higher on protein than I should be, so I emailed the nutritionist to see if that is a problem.  If it's ok, I will be at 610 calories today.
