I hope it is a congratulations about the gift card, Crystal!  Wouldn't that be nice.  I was thinking  about you Saturday when we were on Douglas and Rt 34 shopping.  We went into Kohl's, Meijer,  Panda Express, and the Montgomery Wal-Mart.

Today, I think I will drive out to Chicago for a Christmas bazaar.  I want to buy some jewelry for my best friend and there should be a couple of jewelers from Wisconsin there.  I don't know if my DH will come, probably not.

It was -4 when I got up this morning.

I have been arthritis medicine free since Tuesday.  I think I need to get a cane into the house or buy a walker or something,  There are times it is really hard to get up and moving because of the stiffmess and pain.  I have to get used to it though.

I start my liquid diet tomorrow.  I was going to buy some SF Carnation Instant Breakfast in Vanilla.  Neither Meijer or Wal-Mart had it, only Chocolate.  I know Woodman's has it.

Does anyone if any of the GNC's have the Max protein?  I heard it was supposed to be very good.

I many try calling some, as today I will traveling further north and east than I usually would,

Have a warm day!

Ilse

I broke down and got a cane a couple of years ago after I fell and did a final number to my bone on bone knees.  It does help.

I do get knee injections every 3 months and they are a godsend.  I also have been taking sulfasalazine which also helps.  I started taking that last year after being put on a sulfer based antibiotic that took all my pain away.  If only I could stay on that antibiotic permanently.  My doctor agreed to try the sulfasalazine and it does help, especially since NSAID's are a no no.

Between BioFreeze, my sulfa medicine and my knee injections, I have been limping along until I get enough weight off to replace my knees.

Good luck to you.

Hi Nancy you take Sulfasalazine? and it is ok with our new tummys? I have not taken mine since Surgery I thought it was a NO NO, and have just been doing with out, but if it is ok I am going back on it,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Dr McClellan gave her blessings to go back on it.  It is not considered an NSAID.  I cleared that with her after surgery and she knows I am on it.

Good morning! I was already out and it didn't seem as cold as yesterday. I picked up a few little things that I needed at World Market and took on Michaels. I hate that kind of shopping! That's why I do so little of it. But there weren't really crowds since I went early.

Later Kay is going to teach a friend of mine to make a basket, so that's today! Have a good day!

Basket making is fun! It has been a while since I have done one.

I have to agree, stores and I do not agree at this time of year.  I try to avoid them except when necessary.

Stay warm.
